FUSION
Fusion plays a huge role in the latter part of the Dragon ball series as the last resort against increasingly powerful (and totally ridiculous) enemies; As we are now reaching that point within the scope of the board, it's time to release that power.
Fusion comes in two varieties and the details on those two can be found below.
[PTabbedContent]
[PTab=Fusion Dance]
The fusion dance is performed by having two characters use all actions on their turn, within one round, to initiate the Metamoran fusion dance, Learnable only on Grand Kai's planet or from another character who has already trained with him and knows the dance. Fusion, when done through the dance, lasts 5 rounds before the characters split apart again. After fusion wears off, it can't be performed again until 10 rounds has passed. Due to this cool down, most characters will not be able to fuse more than once per battle.
While fusion with the dance is possible across racial boundaries, if the fusion would result in a combination of races that are unable to produce a hybrid, the fusion dance has absolutely no effect, not even a failed fusion.
THE FORMULA
The formula for a Dance fusion is as follows.
Take both Fusees stats, remove all bonuses for Auras, Traits, Specs and equipment. Now find the better number from among both stats, per stat.
Once you have this new line up, run the fighters though the following algorithm:
Tier+1 * 2500 * (weaker PL / stronger PL)
If you're unsure about your tier, be aware that a characters tier is equivalent to the power level required to reach a transformation vs where they are. For instance, Tier 1 requires 125,000 power level. If you have less than 125,000 power level, you are Tier 0.
DudeA and DudeB ready to fuse. Both Dudes are at 50k.
1 * 2500 * (50k/50k) = 2500 to each stat
ex2
DudeA and GuyA ready to fuse. DudeA is 50k, GuyA at 75k.
1 * 2500 * (50k/75k) = 1,667 to each stat
AURAS, TRAITS, AND SPECS
The next step is to add your auras, traits, and specs. A Dance fusion has access to all bonuses that both fighters have, with one key difference to how those bonuses work. When adding bonuses for a fusion, the highest bonus from the same source replaces the lowest bonus from the same source.
Goku's aura grants him +6% to all, +3% HP in battle.
Vegeta's aura grants him +14% to ki.
This means that Gogeta's aura would grant him +14% to ki, +6% to all other stats, +3% HP in battle.
Further, this means that if Goku has Energizer 1, but Vegeta has Energizer 2, that Gogeta possesses only Energizer 2.

DANCE EFFECT ON EQUIPMENT
Unlike fusions produced by the Potara earrings, Dance fusions completely replace the equipment their base fighters had. Instead of the equipment the characters fused wearing, all slots are replaced as follows below.
Head: Metamoran Headband | +5% Str/Ki | Lost when fusion ends
Chest: Metamoran Vest | +5% Str/Ki | Lost when fusion ends
Hands: Metamoran Bracers| +5% Str/Ki | Lost when fusion ends
Waist: Metamoran Sash | +5% Agi/Dur | Lost when fusion ends
Legs: Metamoran Pants | +5% Agi/Dur | Lost when fusion ends
Feet: Metamoran Boots| +5% Agi/Dur | Lost when fusion ends
Accessory: Metamoran Charm | +10% to a stat of your choice, chosen upon fusion | Lost when fusion ends
The weapon slot still contains a weapon either Fusee had. If both fusees had a weapon, one must be selected to fill the slot.
DANCE FUSION AND TRANSFORMATIONS
Fusion combines the effects of a warriors Transformations, but much like aura, Trait, specs, and equipment, the highest bonus to any particular stat replaces the lowest to that same stat. The fatigue cost of this combined transformation is the normal cost of whichever form is more expensive.
With Dance fusion the fused fighter is able to use any forms that his powerlevel would allow him to use. Special effects from transformations carry over to the combined form. When using a form that the base fighters have not yet achieved, Fatigue cost is increased by 10 per round.
Using a transformation that the fusees can not perform DOES NOT grant them the ability to use it.
Goten and Trunks both only have their tier 1 transformation, Super Saiyan
However, their fusion, Gotenks, is powerful enough to employ a tier 3 transformation, Super Saiyan 3! Gaining 75% to Strength, Ki, Agility, and Durability! However, because Goten and Trunks are not able to employ a tier 3 transformation, instead of the normal 15 fatigue per turn that a tier 3 transformation requires, Gotenks is paying 25 fatigue per turn.
[PTab=Potara]
Potara Fusion is performed when two characters don the Potara earrings on the opposite ear. The resulting warrior wields immense power and ability! This fusion lasts an entire battle and allows any two beings who don the earrings to form one warrior! The downside is that the Potara earrings must be acquired from a kai in the other world! A feat that isn't possible under normal circumstances!
THE FORMULA
The formula for calculating the stats of a Potara fusion is as follows.
Take both Fusees stats, remove all bonuses for Traits, Auras, specs, and equipment. Now that you have these two numbers, add the fusees stats together. On top of these combined stats, add 3,000 to each one. My god, isn't Potara simple?
AURAS, TRAITS, AND SPECS
The next step is to add your auras, traits, and specs. A potara fusion has access to all bonuses that both fighters have, with one key difference to how those bonuses work. When adding bonuses for a fusion, the highest bonus from the same source replaces the lowest bonus from the same source.
Goku's aura grants him +6% to all, +3% HP in battle. Vegeta's aura grants him +14% to ki. This means that Vegito's aura would grant him +14% to ki, +6% to all other stats, +3% HP in battle.
Further, this means that if Goku has Energizer 1, but Vegeta has Energizer 2, that Vegito possesses only Energizer 2.

POTARAS EFFECT ON EQUIPMENT
Unlike fusions produced by the Metamoran dance, Potara fusions do not completely replace their equipment. Instead, the Fusees equipment is merged into a new hybrid item that wields the powers of both. As with Auras and Specs, the highest bonus from the same source, replaces the lowest bonus from the same source. This time working per slot instead of over all. If the Fusees both possessed foot slot items with an agi boost, for example, only the highest agi boost among the foot slot would carry over, while any other effects would also be preserved.
Brisket has her head slot filled with #15's Sombrero, which grants +10% Ki and +5% Agility
Asterion has his head slot filled with Bacara's Tarnished Halo, an Epic reward that grants +20% Fatigue Threshold, and -20% Ki Damage taken.
This means that Asterisk, the resultant fusion, has its head slot filled with the fused item Halo Sombrero. The fused item combines all bonuses of both its base items, with the higher bonus between the two replacing the lowest bonus. This means the halo sombrero, which granted no overlapping bonuses, gives +20% Fatigue Thresh, -20% Ki Damage taken,+10% Ki, and +5% Agility.
in Briskets leg slot she wears the Ki Combat Leggings, which grant +1% Agility and +2% Durability
But in Asterions leg slot he has the Tough Denim Jeans, which grant +6% Durability.
That means that Asterisks leg slot is filled with Ki Combat Jeans, granting +1% Agi and +6% Durability. The higher bonus of Asterions jeans has replaced the lower bonus of Briskets ki combat leggings!
POTARA FUSION AND TRANSFORMATIONS
Fusion combines the effects of a warriors Transformations, but much like aura, specs, and equipment, the highest bonus to any particular stat replaces the lowest to that same stat. The fatigue cost of this combined transformation is the normal cost of whichever form is more expensive.
With Potara fusion the fused fighter is unable to use any forms that both of the base fighters have not reached. Special effects from transformations carry over to the combined form.
Goku has the sheer power required to ascend to Super Saiyan 3, his tier 3 transformation!
However, Vegeta has only achieved the second tier, Super Saiyan 2. Even if Vegeta has the power required to perform a Tier 3 transformation, Vegito is ONLY capable of using Super Saiyan 2, the second tier transformation.
On the other end of the spectrum, If Vegeta chose to have his Super Vegeta transformation at Tier 2 instead of efficiency. Vegito would still be locked to his tier 2 form, but it would look like this.
+70% Strength, +70% Ki, +50% Agility, +50% Durability with a 15 fatigue per turn cost due to Vegetas tier 2 having a higher cost than Gokus.

FUSION AND HP/FATIGUE
A fusion starts with whatever damage both fusees has already taken. After calculating the Fusions max HP, apply any damage both players have suffered to the Fusion. Damage suffered while fused is split evenly between both fusees. In the event that the Fusion takes enough damage to reduce it's HP to 0 or lower, the fusion immediately ends. If either Fusee is at 0 or lower after de-fusing that player is defeated as normal.
A fusion enters battle with the total combined remaining fatigue of both fusees available too it. Fatigue, as with damage suffered, is split evenly between both players upon de-fusing.
