Captain Ginyu was exhilarated that he had a much bigger ship now, one that moved slower than the one he chose originally to take into space with him in his mission to rescue the mysterious Consort of Emperor Frieza, Lady Levi. Even better than just having a bigger ship with more space and luxuries, he even had the likes of Jeice and Burter with him now to assist him. They grabbed a good ship, one that even had a Gravity Machine for them to train in while they traveled through space. He was somewhat upset they chose to leave Frieza 1 and come seek him out despite his orders, but he couldn't really stay mad at them for long. Really having them along with him would allow him to reap better benefits from all the training he was doing, which was great as he could feel himself closing in on a couple more stages to increase his overall power.
Sure the ship they brought was slower than the one he was using, but that was somewhat mitigated by the high quality fuel and the top tier engines he installed onto it that he swapped out from his own ship. Due to that, he would be able to rescue Lady Levi and bring her back in a seat of luxury. With Burter and Jeice now by his side, he would be able to protect Lady Levi better, and even be able to train up his men so they could become truly powerful fighters. He could tell they weren't in his league, but he was going to make sure they would be able to hold their own without him. Before he could truly begin training them though, he still needed to do something that wasn't related to Lady Levi.
"Men, assemble!" Captain Ginyu shouted in a commanding tone of voice from his position in the gravity room. It was acting as a makeshift conference room for the members of the Ginyu Force since it had a lot of room, and they would all be using it in the foreseeable future so the eccentric body snatcher could make his men significantly stronger. He still had higher levels of gravity to achieve himself, but he couldn't do that until he could find an upgrade part to further increase the maximum gravity level of this room. He wasn't going to focus on that right now though, as he had another very important goal in mind. It wasn't rescuing Lady Levi as she was thankfully recovering on this ship in peace, right now he needed to find New Namek so he could further increase his power when in a fight.
The Blue Hurricane was a little sad that he left Frieza I behind, after all... there were still a few things he wanted to do there, most of which involved Zayna. She was quite influential to him recently but at the same time, he also knew that at some point, he might have to leave her behind for duty. That's something he had to accept when he chose to join by leaving his mother behind, and it's not that much different. His loyalty remains to the Ginyu Force in the end. He has been training intensely the past few months, not only recovering the power that he once had back on Namek, but having almost double his original powerlevel now. He wanted to show off to his squadmates, but some of them weren't around... only Jeice and Ginyu. He was glad that some members were back, even if not all of them weren't.
The accommodation itself wasn't too grand, but it didn't have to be for what they usually revel in. The most important thing to Burter is space, both in height and width. He wanted room to run around in, and he didn't want to bend down to enter through the doorframe everytime. Those last two things were most important to him, one that he was happy about when he saw his room, fully accommodated to his size. He's already donned in his Ginyu Force armour, brown-lined shoulder pauldrons, black tint with the Ginyu Force logo crested on the front, leggings covering his long blue muscular legs which is neatly tucked into his boots. He's as ready as he needs to be, with perfect timing as he heard the announcement beep into his scouter, "Men, assemble!" the tone and commanding voice behind it made him realise who it already is.
He went to the doorframe of his bedroom, which slided open and as soon as his frame allowed it, a dash of speed starting going through the ships corridors, leaving behind gusts of air to blow in anyone's face if they were around. He immediately stopped when he realised the door to the gravity room wasn't open, to which, slowly opened as soon as it sensed Burter in front of it. After it did so, the giant blue figure walked to a respectable distance away from his captain, one of his hands going to his forehead as a formal salutation. "Burter of the Ginyu Force, reporting for duty!"
Jeice was simply happy to finally be away from Freiza I. Not that there had been anything wrong with it exactly, but he felt that finally getting to go out and see more worlds, old and new, might help with his growth. He'd vowed to become stronger, carving the symbol of the Ginyu force into his own flesh as a reminder that he owed them everything, that he would always be a loyal member of the Ginyu Force, even should he lack the armor bearing the groups symbol. His growth had been slow though, even Burter had become stronger than he had, which to him indicated that he wasn't doing enough to truly push his own weight around. He sighed at the thought of it.
He'd been exploring the ship that Ginyu came back with, discovering that their beloved captain had become a monster in terms of raw power. Not as much as Freiza, but he certainly posed a threat to anyone now with the power he possessed. It was a good thing, however, it also made him feel even more useless. He was willing to work hard and become stronger, but catching up to Ginyu seemed like a pipe dream. He was dozens of times stronger than he was now, if Ginyu faced an opponent of near-equal power, he and Burter would be squashed like fleas between the clashing powers. They were about as useful as rocks compared to him now. This didn't mean that Jeice was going to give up on catching up of course. He'd try to train even harder. Hopefully, he could have some spars with Burter. His friend was fast, keeping up with him was going to be a serious challenge. He'd do his best to maintain his place as the right hand of the Ginyu force for the sake of his team, though he was starting to question how important that title really was especially with Ginyu being so insanely powerful. At least in the past he felt like he'd been in the same ballpark as his captain. Able to see how much he had to grow to reach his captain. But that was like a distant sunset now, and he felt like he would be endlessly chasing the sun to catch up to Ginyu. Ginyu was the leader and supposed to be the strongest of course. Jeice could hardly complain about that. He just didn't like to feel so little, so unimportant.
When Ginyu called for them to Gather, Jeice moved to join Burter in the gravity room. The room was pretty neat, and he hoped to get plenty of use of out this thing. It would help in their growth a lot, or so he hoped. He wondered how often the captain had used this device on his ship. Standing beside Burter he gave a salute. "Jeice of the Ginyu force, here!" He called a moment after Burter made his reply back to the captain.

Captain Ginyu didn't have to wait long for two of his elite squad of fighters to make their presence known to him when he commanded for everyone on the ship to come to the gravity room so he could address them. Jeice and Burter both showed themselves to him, and they greeted him with the typical energy and zeal he expected out of all members of the Ginyu Force. He was glad that even after suffering humiliating defeats and losing the power they once had, Jeice and Burter were still as eager and determined as ever before. It's a shame that Recoome and Guldo hadn't come back, but having the Red Magma and Blue Hurricane tag team by his side once boosted his morale greatly. The Ginyu Force wasn't back to full, but at least they weren't in the lowly levels of power they were at when they finally recovered from that last skirmish they were sent on.
"That's the kind of zeal I expect out of the members of my squad! Kindly stand right there and let me get a good read on the two of you!" Captain Ginyu said once he gave them his own salute in response to the ones they gave him. He then started scanning them with his scouter, trying to get a good read on their power levels. The power levels his scouter were picking up caused the ridge of his brows to raise up in surprise, because he was expecting his men to take a bit longer to get back into fighting shape. It was nice to know his men had been taking his orders to train hard seriously, because they were even stronger than when they were in their prime. They still had a ways to go in his eyes, but he would be there every step of the way to make sure they could hang with even the best fighters out there.
"Bravo, men! I see you both have been training while I was away, as not only are you both back in prime fighting shape, you both have ascended beyond the power you had in your prime! Especially you, Burter, my oh my you're almost twice as strong as you used to be! I am so very proud to call you both members of the Ginyu Force, you do your captain proud!" he said in a jubilant tone of voice as he gave them a quick round of applause. Now that they were at a level beyond what was once their best, he felt they were truly ready for the next stage of the training he had in mind for them.
Jeice was happy with the praise from his captain but gave a little laugh all the same. It was a mostly happy laugh, but of course, he could not stop his discontent from slipping through. And expressing that discontent at least a little bit. "We've been working hard for sure. But clearly, neither of us have even come close to what you have been able to accomplish cap'n. Every time I flick my scouter on it catches your power and nearly explodes." He said shaking his head with a little sigh at the thought. "We've worked hard, but not hard enough, not yet at least. But I think with you here we can at least improve even more quickly. We need to have lots of sparring and battle practice. I think that will be the quickest way to improve right now. With you being dozens of times stronger than us, fighting an opponent like you would help improve the most rapidly. Or at least that's what I think. I am also hoping to train certain aspects of myself. Not just my body, but my mind as well. I want to improve myself in all forms, not just the physical aspects." Jeice explained with a little nod. Though not sure how else to explain it beyond that.
He was willing to hear whatever the captain had in mind for them too of course. But he was looking to push himself harder than ever before, to the brink of death and beyond if he had to, to truly improve himself. Burter's growth was impressive, and while Jeice was stronger than he was at his prime, he didn't feel he'd worked nearly hard enough yet. He'd only just started and needed more. His desire to improve was powerful, palpable. That desire etched into his body with the symbol of the Ginyu force. Even naked he would forever bear the mark of the people he loved and admired most. His masterful captain, and his best friend. Sure the other members had been important too. Recoome was cool, and Guldo was Guldo. He had valued everyone. But no one but the lord emperor himself could have hoped to hold his respect. Though really, if not for Ginyu and Burter he would probably have been less interested in the PTO. The Ginyu Force was his life, his calling, and that was where his trust loyalty lay. He'd serve the PTO through the Ginyu Force. At least that was his thought on the matter.
"So cap'n what are we going to be doing while we are on our way to Namek, again?" He asked his expression becoming something a little more strained, recalling the last time they had been to Namek and how... Well. That had turned out for the team. Heck, even for lord Freiza the strongest in the universe had been put down in some sense. It had not been a happy ending for the Ginyu Force, or the PTO. But luckily despite their deaths and suffering they had managed to make a return. Now here they were ready to prove their worth to their emperor and the universe.
Jeice's discomfort was obvious to Captain Ginyu despite how happy he seemed to be, and he was going to make sure he wiped that away. He was clearly not fully pleased by how much progress his leader made in comparison to himself and Burter, but the leader of the Ginyu Force was going to make sure his men grew in power at a rate similar to his own. He needed to make sure they rebuilt their reputation as the greatest fighting force in the entire universe, a force who's power was second to only the Emperor himself. He was confident both of his men would grow at an exponential rate now that they had access to the same kind of growth he himself did. All they needed was the proper motivation and the right push.
"Worry not, Jeice! I fully intend to make sure that both of you reach new heights of power previously thought unimaginable for you! I never leave my men behind, I will ensure you both catch up to me! It will be a long climb, but I know you two can do it considering I know how much potential you have! Even if you can't reach my level, you two will be so much stronger by yourselves than you used to be as a team!" he said to the Brenchian in a boisterous manner. Most might them his boast was empty, but Jeice would know Captain Ginyu well enough to realize he meant every word he said.
Upon being asked what they would be doing while they were off searching for New Namek, Captain Ginyu smirked and opened his arms wide as a gesture that asked them to look around the room they were in. It was clearly the most high-tech part of the ship, but it was disturbingly empty. The room seemed rather nondescript and didn't seem to have anything of value in it. That observation wouldn't last long though, as the eccentric body snatcher was quick to speak up and let them know what this room was for. After all, he wanted to make sure they knew what this place and encourage them to train hard.
"This room is what we'll all be training in for the foreseeable future! It is a room that alters the gravity inside of it, we'll be training under progressively higher and higher thresholds of gravity in an attempt to make the two of you stronger! Once we find New Namek, we'll be in this room for long periods of time every single day while we are traveling! I wish for you both to enjoy the increase in power that comes from training under the high stress of gravity!" he said to them as he smirked with pride. He was more than confident enough to believe he could vastly increase their power by exposing them to the same kind of training he's been doing.
"Now that your questions have been answered, let's get to the navigation room and start trying to find New Namek! I have already been given the coordinates to the solar system that New Namek is supposedly in, but we still need to find the planet itself!" he said in a commanding tone of voice as he saluted them and started leading both of his men to the room he was talking about. He was glad to have members of his crew here, because now his search for New Namek would take significantly less time.
"Well, you are the cap'n after all. It's only natural that you would be the strongest of us, that is the way I think it should be. But cap'n, what did you do to jump so high? You've made such a massive leap in power that I would think you have made yourself the next most powerful force next to Feiza himself already." And frankly, that kind of leap made Jeice wonder if their captain would not simply surpass Freiza in terms of power in the future. It wasn't as though he was going to stop his own growth, perhaps being at such a high power level would slow his progress, but it was hard to imagine that he or Burter would be catching up to their captain any time soon when it came to their power. Frankly, Jeice would have been significantly more satisfied even being a fourth as strong as their captain was now.
Another thought came to mind, and it made Jeice rub his chin a little. "Hey, Cap'n... It seems like people who get as strong as you do usually end up unlocking even greater power... Like Freiza, he's got his evolutions, I suppose one might call it? And the Saiyans can do their whole gold thing... Maybe other people can do that sort of thing too, though I have no seen it. So what about you, cap'n? Have you discovered a power in yourself like they have that you can use?" He wondered if that was something everyone with enough power could do, or if only a unique few could tap into something inside themselves and drag it free. And if he had a power of his own, what could it be? What would he need to do to unlock it? He'd never heard of his people possessing such a power, but that didn't mean it didn't exist. It was possible he'd simply never looked into such tales. For a long time he never expected to become a fighter anyway, he'd been a pro spaceball player after all. It wasn't until Ginyu came he was swept up into the Ginyu Force.
Jeice looked around the room as the captain explained exactly what it was, and nodded, looking impressed. "Neato. So it's one of those gravity chamber things. I heard a bit about these but never been in one myself. And this can help use train, aye? Sounds good to me. What do you think Burter?" He asked looking to his friend and having a little laugh, slapping him on the back, looking forward to using this room with everyone.
"Right, Namek. But isn't it in the same spot? It seems odd we need to look around for it. But I guess normally I don't think about that kind of thing. Normally we just have a place to go, punch in the numbers given to us, and leave." He chuckled. "Although it's nice we got a space like this now. Those pods can get a little cramped even if we can just sleep most of the way to wherever it is we are going." Jeice noted, following his captain out of the room.
"Jeice, I have done nothing except force myself to go beyond any and all limits I possess. I never let anything convince me that something is impossible, I always push myself beyond what even I believe I'm normally capable of. All one needs is the conviction and determination to get so much stronger, and it will happen. As for the idea of me unlocking new thresholds of power, I have actually found new thresholds of power to unlock deep within me, and I'm slowly coming up on the next level. I guarantee that by the time our exploration is done, both you and Burter will reach new heights of power that previously might have been unreal!" he said in his usual boisterous tone as he puffed his chest out with pride.
"That sounds like a positively fantastic idea, Jeice! May I also say that your genius knows no limits like always, Captain!" Burter said in his usual excited tone of voice as he performed another pose.
In all honesty, Captain was just as perplexed over the idea that they had to search for Planet Namek again, but it seems the surviving Namekians had done something to move their planet to a different location. Perhaps they achieved that with those Dragon Ball things they possessed that the Emperor wanted them to obtain for him. Ah well, they still needed to visit the place so he could pick up a potential power boost that was there, so they were going to put in the hard work to find the planet. Once it was found again, he could mark it in the PTO database and let them know where they could find the planet again. The Namekians wouldn't escape the consequences of their resistance once Captain Ginyu was done with his business on that planet.
"I attempted to go back there, and turns out the planet isn't there, but I met a lovely warrior woman that informed me of visiting Namek in this new location. The Namekians or those pesky Earthlings likely pulled some shenanigans to place the planet somewhere else, and now we need to find it. There's something I can find there that will make me a bit stronger, and I intend to obtain it by any means necessary. So help me find where the planet is now, and we can train on the way there" he said as he lead them into the navigation room. Once they all got there, he indicated for them to look through the navi computer and send out probes in this solar system to help him look for Planet New Namek.
(Burter has allowed me to NPC his character in my replies, but I will not be including what I wrote for him in my WC for each reply)
"Oh yeah, they probably used those dragon ball things that Freiza wanted forever ago, right? They could grant wishes or something right?" He asked only vaguely remembering why their emperor wanted them in the first place and recalling something about Freiza wanting to wish for immortality. Which might have cemented him as emperor of the universe for all time if not for that Saiyan who beat Freiza at the time. If they were going to Namek though, maybe they could get the balls while they were there and make a wish of their own? He didn't know what they could wish for, maybe they could wish for greater power for the three of them? Was that possible? Maybe as possible as wishing for immortality at least. It was hard to say without trying it. Of course, if they did collect them, then their captain might have them save them for Freiza instead. However, no one had heard anything from Freiza in a while again.
"I see. Well, I'll do my best to surpass my limits cap'n. If anyone would know how to do it, you would! After all, you did it. You completely shattered your old self into the ground and multiplied your power!" He said still amazed at the thought of just how powerful their captain had become in what seemed like so short a time.
"So it's not actually in the old place... And the PTO doesn't have it's new location yet? I heard that they sent some people back there, but I guess I could be wrong about that." He said having a set before activating some probes. "Ah well, at least we can have these probes doing most of the work for us. I'd really like to get started training after all. This whole scouting for planets thing seems like grunt work to me." He shrugged it off though while deciding on a couple of locations to send out probes to. "And when we start training, what did you have on the menu first captain? Sparring with you maybe? Or something else a little more fundamental?" He questioned, eager to get moving. He didn't want to spend any more time in this chair probing for the new location of Namek than he had too. He wondered how far it had been moved though. It surely had to be in the same star system, didn't it? Then again he didn't know how those wishes worked. Maybe it just gave the best outcome every time.

"I am glad you remember that piece of information we learned during the disastrous mission to Namek, Jeice! You never cease to show me why making you my second-in-command was the right decision!" Captain Ginyu said in his typical boisterous tone of voice as he worked hard at trying to find the location to this 'New Namek'. With both of his men at his side, he was sure his quest for more power in space wouldn't take anywhere near as long as it would have if was by himself. He was glad to have both Jeice and Burter by his side once more, their presence would make things even easier, even though he was stronger than both himself and all of the other Ginyu Force members combined back during that ill-fated mission to Namek. Being by himself had grown very boring, even though he's had the distinct honor of having Vasha and Lady Levi at his side to relieve him of the tedium that came from missions and training.
"It's kind of hard to forget such information, Captain. We all know how our original trip to Namek went" Burter said with his face set into a firm frown as he helped the illustrious Captain Ginyu find the new solar system Namek had been transported to.
Captain Ginyu grimaced to himself as his eyes continued to scan around the solar system, not liking the reminder of how their ill-fated mission to Planet Namek went. Still, he could at least state with pride that his men weren't letting the defeats diminish their confidence too much. Although he disliked the reminder of their humiliating defeats, it forced the Ginyu Force to buckle down and start improving themselves in ways they otherwise wouldn't have bothered. While it might legitimately take both of his men to reach the level of power he reached, he was going to make sure they reached their absolute best. Emperor Frieza was counting on them to redeem themselves and prove themselves of being worthy of his favor after failing him and the empire as many times as they did in the past.
"Thank you for the reminder, Burter. As for you both achieving your true power and ascending beyond your natural limitations, I will guide you both diligently and personally to ensure you ascend to the natural height of your true power! I will require you both to give it your all, the Ginyu Force doesn't allow quitters into their ranks! So long as you both keep trying until you succeed, I can guarantee you two will go far!" he said to them enthusiastically as his eyes continued to dart over the data pertaining to the scans of the solar system in the hopes they'll find what he's been desperately searching for. He was feeling energetic, his men being here filled him with the proverbial second wind and reinvigorated his soul after facing the utter monotony of traveling through the cosmos by himself.
Jeice's curiosity knew no bounds, but unlike Emperor Frieza who demanded unquestioning obedience, Captain Ginyu encouraged his men to think and analyze situations. Truthfully the idea of scouting for planets was work reserved for the lowliest and weakest of grunts, but he wanted to personally search for Planet New Namek because he would have something to gain from it by doing so. He wanted to take full advantage of his time through space like he's done so in the past, but the search would be over much faster now that he had the Red Magma and Blue Hurricane to cut down on the amount of time he would need to spend searching for the planet. He was going to make sure they were rewarded handsomely once he got what he wanted from Planet New Namek by training them long term, such loyalty deserved to be rewarded after all. Feeling excited over all the things he could do with the tag team of Jeice and Burter, Ginyu responded once more.
"It may be grunt work, but I figure we should do the searching ourselves since we'll have something to gain from it. As for the training itself, we'll be focusing on getting you all up to the same level of gravity I have mastered so we may all train together and receive the same amount of returns. Once you two have mastered the gravity levels I have, then we will move on to things like sparring and coming up with more team attacks. When you can train under the same conditions I can, I will give you more disciplined training" Captain Ginyu said to his right-hand man honestly. He wanted both of his men to know what to expect from the training he was going to have them do as more data about the solar system they were in kept pouring in.
"Yes Captain, we won't let you down! You can always rely on us living up to all your expectations and more, right Jeice?!" Burter said after saluting the Captain before giving the red-skinned Brenchian a grin and thumbs up, before he too went back to scanning the various data and information about the solar system they were in.
Jeice wasn't too fond of remembering what happened on Namek either, but for the moment it wasn't an experience he could afford to forget right now. He thought he'd done well enough to become somewhat better than he used to be. But that was rather limited. He'd done some training, but not enough. And the reminder of Namek reminded him of just how deeply he failed. It wasn't just a failure in terms of power, though it certainly was that. But it also displayed the greatest flaws in his character that he now sought to overcome. That Goku guy had managed to handle Burter easily, too easily. For all his speed that Saiyan had been strong enough, fast enough that he'd been able to outmaneuver his poor big blue friend. He'd been easily handled. Frankly speaking, Ginyu as strong as he was right now, was probably also way faster than he and Burter combined simply by virtue of being so much more massively powerful. If Ginyu held back to a level similar to them, then Jeice did not doubt that Burter would be faster, but without that caveat in the discussion whatever speed his friends had was more or less a moot point.
And of course for Jeice, as soon as things fell apart for him he'd gone running for the captain. And while that might have been the smartest move, given that in the beginning, Ginyu had managed to defeat that Saiyan, it had been a decision born of fear and desperation rather than a decision made for any sort of tactical reasoning. Which to Jeice made it a shameful act. Had he made that decision for any sensable reason beyond blind emotion, it would have been fine. But as it stood he'd done little more than run home to grab his stronger daddy to come to fight the battle for him, because he could not win himself. Perhaps his fear was understandable, perhaps anyone in his position would have done the same, many might say he could not be blamed for acting in such a way. But Jeice could not accept that. He wanted to be BETTER than that. He should not be the one filled with fear but his enemies whoever they were. They should be the ones to fear him, they should be the ones going to fun for someone stronger. But even should he have another battle in which his situation is hopeless, he wanted to conduct himself in a manner better fitting of the Ginyu Force. Cowardice was unacceptable. Not if he was the right hand of the Ginyu Force, not when he was fighting for something greater than himself, something greater than himself at least being for his team, friends, and leader.
"So lots of gravity training then. Sounds perfect to me Cap'n. But what level of gravity did you reach before you decided to stop, and what is the maximum level of gravity that the machine can reach?" Jeice decided to ask, considering how much training they were probably about to start doing.
He very much enjoyed the enthusiasm he was getting from his men, their eagerness to train and grow stronger made his heart swell with pride. His trusty comrades were never ones to let him down when he had absolute faith in their abilities, even their losses didn't do anything to shake his confidence in them. He never blamed them should they ever lose a fight, he took their failures as his own because it was his duty to make sure they were able to handle any and all obstacles that got in their way. Since their failures were his failures, he was going to make sure they were strong enough to handle anything from this point on. Even better, he was going to make sure they were strong enough to fight foes without needing teamwork, teamwork he would still encourage for the sake of keeping their good synergy.
"That's the spirit, men! You keep up that kind of enthusiasm, and I can guarantee that you'll both reach the level of power I'm currently at, and then get even stronger than that! No matter what happens, we will prove once more that we are the best group of fighters in the universe, with only the likes of the Emperor being above us!" he said in an excited tone of voice that radiated pride for his men while he diligently kept searching for Planet New Namek. He knew better than to doubt their convictions, after all he took them under his swing and taught them the philosophy of the Ginyu Force that he himself made. He was content with the knowledge that Jeice and Burter would surpass any and all expectations he had of them.
Before anyone else could speak up and keep the conversation going, some new data came into the navicomputer that let them all know Planet New Namek has most likely been found. Very curious about this, Captain Ginyu barked out an order to the experimental AI to bring up a detailed holographic display that showed the planet in question. This caused the projector in the data room to showcase a planet that looked like a complete and total copy of the original Planet New Namek. The similarities are so numerous that he knew in his heart of hearts this was the planet he was looking for. Smirking to himself with great pride, the eccentric body snatcher spoke up.
"AI, bring us in for a landing on Planet New Namek! It's time I grab hold of this new power source! Jeice and Burter, you will stay and guard the ship while I'm collecting this power source! I firmly believe the Namekians will try to strand us on the planet if all of us leave the ship!" Captain Ginyu barked out, issuing commands to all the members of his crew.
