Captain Ginyu smirked at Jeice from across the Gravity Room, very pleased with his progress. His right-hand man was quickly getting back into shape, even starting to reach a level of power that was previously above the Brenchian. That was good, and the gravity training they've been have been playing a huge part in that. The man was adjusting to the higher levels of gravity faster than he initially expected the red-skinned alien to accomplish, which was a very good thing in his eyes. If the man could actually reach the level of gravity Captain Ginyu was currently at, they could train together and receive equal benefits from doing so.
"You've done well in regards to mastering some of the gravity levels available to us. You make me prouder and prouder to call you my right-hand man the more you improve, you're already up to x5 gravity. Sure you're used to x10, but soon you'll surpass even that with enough time and diligence! Let me know when you're ready to dive into the next gravity level, and we'll get you started!" Captain Ginyu said to his right-hand man as he saluted the man with pride. He was eager to see how high his fellow soldier could ascend in regards to gravity levels.
"Aye cap'n! It is always my goal to make you proud and to live up to your expectations!" He said eagerly, offering a salute to his captain. He imagined the captain knew his limits better than he knew himself. Knowing how much he could handle and trying to ease him past those limits. The captain was an amazing man like that.
Jeice wasted no time in getting to work. Doing the stretches much like his did yesterday, of course, the new level of gravity made it even harder, and so he was quick to break a sweat as he ran, jumped, stretched, poses, and then eventually got the actual physical exercise. Push-ups, sit-ups, which as expected were more than twice as hard to do as the previous day that they had done them. All the same, he pushed himself to do fifty each. After that taking a brief rest to catch his breath.
It had hardly been more than a day, but Jeice was already feeling a little cooped up. He wanted to get to Namek quickly, but at least training would help them pass the time. However today he was intent to practice some of his martial skills rather than the standard physical exercise.
So that's what he moved onto next while recalling the last time they had been to Namek, visualizing the scenario. It was a clear scene, easy for him to bring to mind. He compared how he was now to, the him, that he used to be. Remembering the moment Goku appeared to challenge them. How he's smashed Recoome down with relative ease and then moved on to Burter. Leaving Jeice for last, having not exactly been defeated, but easily handled to the point he ran away to grab his captain. So he considered what he would do now. At the very least how he would try to fight. He'd seen how that Goku guy moved. He was so quick and strong at the time it was unfair. None of them had been a challenge for the guy. But Jeice was getting strong enough that maybe back then his new strength would have made a greater difference.
He took a stance, visualizing Goku before him who also took his own stance, that crouched stance, one arm raised, shoulder to Jeice, other hand low at the ready. It seemed a strange stance to Jeice, but he supposed he didn't have quite the same kind of earthling formal training Goku did. They were from totally different worlds. Maybe even different galaxies.
On Namek this gravity would not be affecting him. But that was fine for now since this was just visual training. A hologram or something would have been nicer, but it didn't seem that the gravity room could do that. Or at least, not as far as he knew.
Goku came at him. Coming in a flash of speed that made Jeice lash out, striking at his face, only for his punch to be ducked, Goku coming at him with an uppercut.
Jeice flipped backward, grunting at the effort, feeling as though Goku's punch would have just clipped his chin. Another flash of speed, Jeice getting hit from the side, forcing himself to spin through the air, trying to catch his feet. Not enough, Goku was still too fast, too strong. Jeice needed more, needed to be stronger, faster.
He let his energy flare as he screamed out, crimson aura bursting from his body as he tried to go on the offensive, catching his feet long enough to lash out, aiming a punch to catch Goku in the stomach, only for him to flash, leaving an afterimage that Juices fist slammed easily through, catching nothing but the air in his fist before taking a kick to his back. It was a losing battle, but at least Jeice was learning. The battle, and the injuries nothing more than a conjuration of his imagination.
But for Ginyu it might be a strange, but convincing play. Could he see how his right hand struggled? Could he see how vividly Jeice lived in the moment? How hard he was struggling to fight an enemy that wasn't there, fighting the memory of his failure against the man that had so easily crushed him on Namek. Crushed him so easily, so thoroughly that Jeice had barely even gotten to put up a fight before running away. Could he see the shame Jeice held in his heart for that failure? For that fear and cowardice? The expression Jeice had even in his imaginary battle was one of pain and frustration.

The leader of the Ginyu Force was glad that Jeice wanted to get down to business and train immediately. Giving into his right-hand man's request, he turned to face the console that controlled the atmosphere and gravity inside of the room, and turned on the gravity features so that the gravity inside of chamber was cranked up to x5 what it would be on planets like Earth. Once the new level of gravity had set in, the eccentric body snatcher joined Jeice in the training he was doing. The training wouldn't be as effective for him as it would be for Jeice, but that was kind of the point. This was about increasing the intensity of the Brenchian's training.
Captain Ginyu immediately started going through the motions of his typical training regimen, modifying his flexibility by performing a series of poses to loosen up his muscles and make sure he could handle posing with the same exuberance and elegance he could in lower gravity settings. This training was very effective back when he was doing it, and now he had the joy of training with someone else again. Someone who wasn't Vasha, someone he held a fondness for, it was none other than the second-in-command of his beloved Ginyu Force. This training would be more enjoyable for someone like him, a person who liked to socialize and believed in teamwork. If he could get his right-hand man up to the level he was at, than the man's power would skyrocket.
"I am pleased to see how eager you are to get into this training, Jeice! I'm gonna need you to master everything up to the level of gravity that I've reached, I need someone to help grow alongside me! As much as I've grown on my own, the training was so boring without you or the rest of my men!" he said in a joyous manner.
Jeice came back to himself long enough to nod his head to the captain's words, the illusion of his scenario fading for the moment. Breathing hard as he realized that he was still on the ship training beside his captain.
"Yes, I am sure it must get boring to train alone." The Brenchian mused. "I think that I am going to want you to turn up the gravity again, in just a few minutes. I'm adjusting quickly, and I would like to at least master the third level of gravity before we end the day." He was breathing hard, sweating, dripping to the floor. But it wasn't enough. It didn't feel like enough, not today.
Having just played out at least part of the scenario against Goku on Namek again he really wanted to push himself today. He'd gone easy on himself yesterday. He'd taken the time to train, adjust, and then rest. But today he was in a serious mood... He didn't want to stop till he could feel the real pain of his training. He could feel the scar on his chest throb with the feelings he had, clenching his fists as he closed his eyes, clenching his teeth, and letting his power raise higher. He could feel his resolve grow and become all the more firm. Today was a day he was willing to train to the point of breaking. He didn't want to stop training until he was satisfied. He wanted to impress his captain with his efforts.
His captain always gave plenty of praise, always pressing Jeice on. But today was going to be a day where he wanted to really show the captain the kind of fire he really had. Today was not a day he wanted to take easy and half-ass the training.

Captain Ginyu continued to go through the motions of his training regiment while watching over Jeice to make sure he didn't push his physical capabilities beyond safe levels. Sure he would need to surpass any and all limits he might have at the moment, but at the same time one should never risk serious injury in training sessions unless you were a Saiyan. Neither of them were Saiyans, and therefore would only incapacitate themselves from training hard enough to cause one another significant injury. Plus all of his men tended to have a lot of pride like the Captain himself did. So it wasn't beyond the realm of possibility for them to push themselves too hard.
Of course Jeice was making some amazing progress in regards to the gravity level. He watched him train himself very hard and maintain a determined spark of passion to improve himself in ways beyond what level of power he used to be. It made his heart swell with pride that the Brenchian was working himself as hard as he was. That was the kind of dedication and drive to improve that he expected to see out of the members of his Ginyu Force. If the man kept going like this, it stood to reason that he would one day be on a similar level of power to the Captain himself.
When he momentarily took his eyes off of Jeice to oversee his own training, he was left unable to see that the man had mastered the gravity level he was at. It wasn't until the Brenchian got his attention by talking to him that he could see how easily his second-in-command could while under this level of gravity. It shocked him into silence for a moment, unable to believe how quickly the man was improving. Then again, they were used to gravity similar to that found on Planet Vegeta, and therefore this amount shouldn't have really affected him that much. Both proud and amazed by this, the eccentric body snatcher spoke up.
"Well well well, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised by how much you breeze right up there in regards to the lower stages of gravity! Since you're so eager to keep going with this training we're doing, I suppose I'll oblige you! We'll speed through the next few levels of gravity, and then we can start working on levels higher than you're used to! Just be prepared to work up as much of a sweat as possible, Jeice!" Captain Ginyu said with a proud gleam in his eyes. Knowing that his second-in-command was still ready for more, he started turning up the gravity higher and higher until they were near the landmark of x10. He wanted to make sure Jeice mastered every gravity level below x10 before they moved on, since Captain was something of a perfectionist.
