In the great plains of Namek, there appeared to be calm, peaceful, and quiet scene with absolutely nothing going on. It was a serene, medium-sized island with some battle scars dotted across it's landscape due to a fierce clash of powerful warriors that took place here. It was the battlefield to which the greatest warrior of the Saiyans, and the greatest warrior of the PTO, had an epic clash that would have been quite a spectacle to those who might have been lucky enough to watch it. It was the sight where big changes were made to said greatest warrior of the PTO's mindset and approach to battle. It was also the sight of Captain Ginyu's death, a place that he was definitely going to hate to see once he was 'teleported' out of the Otherworld.
When the portal Lady Towa made in time and space opened up and sent Captain Ginyu through it, it closed behind the warrior and leaving him in the very crater that Serranna tossed his body into. Just seeing it caused him to pull his lips back into a snarl, because he was still enraged at both the Saiyan woman and himself for losing in the first place. As much as he's improved since their fight here on New Namek thanks to the training he did in Heaven, the eccentric body snatcher wasn't pleased to see the very battlefield he lost his life in. This must have been one of the Demon witch's ideas of a prank, and boy she had to be laughing now. He definitely wasn't laughing about it, but he did his best to shrug it off.
Captain Ginyu took the time to take a couple of deep breaths, closing his eyes as he inhaled the natural scents of New Namek. He was glad to smell...well life again, since Heaven had this kind of odd scentless thing to it unless some external source produced it. The eccentric body snatcher wasn't happy to be back in this particular portion of New Namek, but at least he was back. He was feeling a little worried, in regards to both what that Saiyan woman may be doing to Frieza I territory, as well as about this coming threat Lady Towa vaguely warned him about. He was glad he's trained up so much, but he still felt as if what he had wasn't quite enough for him yet.
As proud as he was of his new capabilities and how much effort he put into reaching this new level of power, the sensation of worry still laid there in the back of his mind. The elite officer believed he should now focus on trying to increase his power in a quick fashion, find and use anything that would give him the leg up he felt he needed. Captain Ginyu wasn't afraid or anyone or anything except the Emperor Frieza, but the Saiyan woman's power, and the amused warning of Lady Towa both let him know that his current level still wasn't enough. It felt absurd to think that way, but he couldn't stop himself from doing so due to his desire to defend the Empire and get back at the woman who bested him. Thankfully he was back among the land of the living, so he could begin doing that.
Now the first thing he had to figure out, was what he should first now that he's returned. Obviously he still needed more power, but where should he go to get more of the power he craved? He supposed that the first thing he could do was head back into space and begin looking elsewhere for more power boosts. He felt uneasy about being on New Namek right now, since he thought the woman had the ability to teleport. He didn't let lowlifes and inferiors push him around though, so he was going to make sure he searched all over the galaxy for anything of potential interest that might be worth his time..
"Tch, the fact I have to lower myself to something as pathetic as slinking around in the shadows is absurd! I would never be so foolish as to turn my back to such a potentially great opportunity though, so I might as well start looking around. First thing's first though, I should head back to the ship and let the crew know I've returned. They don't appear to have left the planet, at least according to the power signatures I'm sensing in the distance. Well that potential recruit I had seems to have vanished, lousy good for nothing" he said with a low growl of irritation as he powered up and started flying in the direction of his ship.
After being cooped up in the ship for so long, he never thought he would miss it. Surprisingly for him though, he actually did wind up missing the damn thing since it provided such wonderful training opportunities. He was alone on it for so long that he thought he was gonna go stir crazy, especially since his alone form of company was that of a dumb, glitchy AI crew. Bah whatever, at least he could get back to some more conventional training after the time he's spent in Heaven training to increase his move set and unlock more of his inherent potential. The conventional training might get a bit boring and tedious at times, but it was just so useful when he couldn't think of anything else to do.
He was likely going to have to get back into more conventional training, along with trying to master some of the new techniques he's come up with. Captain Ginyu had a couple more ideas technique-wise to enhance his arsenal of moves even more than he already did while he was stuck in Heaven. The eccentric body snatcher wanted to cover all of his bases so he could be as well prepared for any and all kinds of fights that were definitely going to take place. If he wanted any shot of winning fights from here on out, more technique variety and more power were the paths he should focus on the most. There was always the chance he could still lose future fights even with more power and techniques at his disposal, but he was hoping that wasn't the case.
His flight back to the ship thankfully didn't take him long, and boy was he surprised when the men that came with him all offered him a proud cheer that they then followed up with some salutes. This caused Captain Ginyu to smirk, because he was glad his men were so excited to see him again. He was hoping they would have kept to their posts and not run away, potentially leaving him temporarily stranded on this backwater mudhole of a world. The fact that they stuck around proved to him that they were determined to follow their orders and not leave a man behind. Very pleased by this, he offered them proud nods of his head, and even decided to compliment them for sticking around.
"Well done, men! I have to admit that I didn't think you'd stick around once I feel to the hands of that Saiyan wench! All of you have exceeded my expectations, and I'm quite grateful you didn't risk your lives so needlessly. None of you would have ever stood a chance against that savage, so it was good you just ducked out and let her go about her business! Now things are different though, so be prepared for a long trip because we'll be having some stuff that needs to be taken care of!" Captain Ginyu said to them in an enthusiastic fashion.
In response to this, the crew mates of the ship excitedly proclaimed their gratitude for his praise, and gave him some more salutes. The eccentric body snatcher gazed his men up and down, appraising them to see if they had gotten any stronger while he was gone. He could see that they seemed to have stalled out and remain at the same level of power while he spent his time training. That was more than a little disappointing, but it wasn't anything too bothersome. He'd rather have stronger minions with him, but he would take what he could get.
"Now that I've returned, I think it's time we take a little trip through the stars once more! If any of you have anything interesting report, you better speak up now before we leave! I'm eager to leave this accursed mud hole and get back to our glorious empire's capital, and I'm sure all of you are as well! This is your only chance to speak up and give out any information you may have about New Namek that I don't know while I was away, because I don't wish to come back until we're all in better positions! So anything to tell me, or shall we just leave right now?" Captain Ginyu said to them, looking at them with his narrowed at them in an inquisitive manner.
The men all looked between themselves for a moment, whispering to themselves about any information they might have come across while they waited to hear word back from Captain Ginyu. He did let them know beforehand that he had to take care of a threat, so he encouraged them to find ways of occupying their time. Now he was hoping that they had something for him to do before he left this planet. If they did, he was confident he would be one step closer to obtaining even more power. He both wanted and needed as much power as he could possibly obtain if he wanted to stand any chance against that Saiyan woman or this mysterious threat Lady Towa vaguely warned him about.
The assembled men started whispering to themselves about anything that might have caught their attention, and one of them became aware of something particularly interesting while they were scouting around in their attempts to avoid engaging in a battle with the assembled warriors of New Namek, both Saiyan and Namekian. This rank-and-file minion had become aware of something he learned about while overhearing a conversation between a Saiyan and Namekian, one that would hopefully capture the Captain's attention. Ginyu was a well-respected and highly ranked member of the PTO after all, and it would be nice to earn his favor by telling him about something that might prove useful. After discussing things with one another, the rest of the goons pushed one particular minion up in front of them, causing him to be left standing directly in front of Captain Ginyu. This caused the horned body snatcher to raise the ridge of his brow up in curiosity, wondering what kind of information this soldier would give him.
"Well, I learned of something that could prove very useful to you, Captain Ginyu sir! While I was scouting around New Namek and avoiding patrols, I overheard a conversation between a Namekian and Saiyan that spoke of some mystical seed that is said to increase one's power by a great amount, albeit at a terrible cost. While the Saiyan didn't know anything about it, he was being told by the Namekian of this seed, and the greater details were something that caught my interest! Although the Namekian believed the thing to just be a myth, it was still something I think you should know about, sir!" the minion said to him in a nervous, but eager tone of voice. He didn't know how right he was earlier about his information potentially catching the body snatcher's attention.
What Captain Ginyu just heard left him feeling both interested and skeptical, as he would love to have even more power in his arsenal so that he could become a greater force of power than he already was. He's managed to become super powerful already thanks to his strict training regimen in Heaven, both in terms of power output as well as offensive technique variety. Sure his base power didn't really increase all that much compared to when he died, but that was made up for in other areas which made the seemingly small base power boost he's obtained exponentially better overall. To be told there was something out there which could make him even stronger than before, albeit with no real details on it yet, was something that intrigued him. It wasn't something he could just ignore, provided it was real and not just some tale meant to be taught as a lesson of not getting too greedy.
He was somewhat skeptical about this so-called seed though, because surely such a thing would have become known by the Planetary Trade Organization by now. Perhaps it was this seed that had granted the Emperor and his family such overwhelming power. If that was the case, than no wonder the royal family chose not to disclose the information about such a thing to anyone not of their family. If that wasn't the case though, that means there was a potential avenue of power that none of the Emperor's family had taken advantage of yet. Whatever the case, he did feel some sense of skepticism about this little tale he was told, and he needed more details before he made a decision on what to do. He had too little information about this seed right now, and would need more than the bare minimum information he was just given.
"You have my interest for the moment, Private! I'm humoring you and giving you my attention, so please gift me with any remaining knowledge you might have on this 'seed' you speak of" he said to the alien grunt with his eyes narrowed into a questioning stare. Seeing the open skepticism on the Captain's face, the soldier got more nervous that he was actually getting to speak to someone as respected and highly ranked as Captain Ginyu. He knew that this was his big chance to impress one of the higher ups, and he wasn't going to mess this opportunity up. He'd be a complete and total fool for completely blowing what may be his only chance for more recognition.
Straightening his back and offering the hero of the empire another salute, the lower ranked soldier spoke up.
"Yes, sir! According to the legend that the Namekian spoke of, mystical seeds of a supposedly evil tree can occasionally be found on planets after one of them had been used on a distant planet. By planting the seed into the ground of a planet, it will grow into a tree that sucks out the life of the planet the seed was planted in. Once all the life energy of the planet is sucked out, the tree will grow a bountiful harvest of fruit that will bestow great power upon whoever consumes the fruits. At least that's what the Namekian claimed in the tale he told the Saiyan, sir!" the soldier said in a nervous, but confident manner.
As soon as the rest of the details were given to him by the soldier, Captain Ginyu's brows rose far up his head in surprise. Well that definitely sounded interesting, enough so that he was now even more interested and equally skeptical. This sounded like a farcical tale that the Namekians told as fables to their offspring to try and stop them from getting greedy. However, he knew about the Namekians to know the slugs didn't just tell completely made up tall tales. Oh no, even their fables had some sprinkles of truth to them, and he knew their sacred wish marbles actually did exist as well as actually did what their name implied.
If crystal balls that could grant wishes actually existed in the Namekian fables, this 'life-sucking tree' had to exist in some form or fashion as well. Whether or not the tale actually matched what it really did was in question, but he was willing to believe these supposed seeds actually exist. How he was going to get his hands on one of them was a mystery to him, but he wasn't going to let the logistical nightmare of trying to find one of these seeds stop him from seeking out more power. If this legend was true, than this lowly grunt has provided him with a great deal of information about something he could use to his own ends and make himself all the stronger in the end. The PTO would be in rather safe hands once Captain Ginyu obtained this supposed power boost for himself.
This Private has potentially done him a lot of good, provided the legend the Namekians had about these seeds and the power-boosting fruit their trees grew. Confident enough in the fable to believe there was some nugget of truth in this Namekian fable, Captain Ginyu smiled at the Private and gave him a round of applause and encouraged the other men to applaud the soldier as well. The Private didn't know what was going on, but he believed this was a good thing for him and his military career. The leader of the Ginyu Force seemed very impressed with him, and he hoped it was genuine. Getting the body snatching alien in his back pocket to do him a favor like putting a good word in for him would do wonders for his standing in the eyes of the higher ups. So, the soldier hesitantly smiled at the Captain and gave him another salute.
Chuckling to himself, Captain Ginyu settled the applause down, and then spoke up.
"I believe congratulations are in order, Private! If this Namekian fable is true, than that means there's something out there both the Emperor and myself can make use to grow even stronger than we already are! I don't know if the Emperor would need this supposed power boost, but I certainly won't turn it down! Rest assured if we can find one of those seeds and I personally discover the legend is true, there will be a very generous payday as well as a potential promotion in your future!" he said to the much lower-ranked soldier in a satisfied tone of voice.
The soldier proceeded to puff his chest out in pride, glad that the tale he overheard between a Namekian and Saiyan was something that THE Captain Ginyu himself held interest in. He didn't know how the man was going to take advantage of the fable for his own ends, but he's always been resourceful and has rarely failed in anything he did. Sure he's lost a lot more in recent times than he has before, but the body snatching alien was still the soldier that all those of a lower rank respected. While the elite soldier was very eccentric, the rank-and-file soldiers admired him and the Ginyu Force all the same because they were all strong and held the Emperor's favor. All of them wished to become anywhere near the same league of respect and power as the purple body snatcher himself possessed.
"Thank you, sir! I'm eager to see how you will use this legend to improve yourself! You're already even greater than before, so I can't even imagine how much you'd improve if this legend is true and you exploit it for yourself, sir!" said the soldier in an enthusiastic manner as he proudly saluted Captain Ginyu. Perhaps he was laying it on a little thick, but all members of the PTO had a tendency to be ambitious brown nosers that wanted to earn prestige. The Captain may not have been Emperor Frieza or his family, but he still had a lot of pull in the Empire, and so therefore was a good person to suck up to. The Private may not be very strong, but he made up for that with eagerness and ambition.
Captain Ginyu did feel a bit of skepticism about the tale he was told, but he was hoping that it would be a true tale so he could make himself even stronger than he already was. Provided this tale was true, than the body snatching soldier had a potential avenue of surpassing that damnable Saiyan wench who's proven to be something of a thorn in his side. His pride seething with an incredible desire to pay her back for his untimely death, the woman would rue the day she chose to get in his way. Part of him wanted to just race off after her and fight her immediately, but he knew being tactical was important. He would focus on finding one of these 'seeds' and then find a planet that wouldn't be of any value to the Empire.
"Thanks to Private Boison here, we now have a new goal! New Namek is still of some use to us, but that damnable Saiyan woman I faced before is unfortunately now aware of our presence here, and can come attack us anytime she wants. Since she's shown that she has the power and capability of matching me, this place is too dangerous to exploit for right now! So we shall leave New Namek for the moment, and all of you will help me hunt down one of these 'seeds' so that I can make full use of it! Please follow me into the ship, men, and we'll get going!" Captain Ginyu said to them in all in his typical exuberant tone of voice as he marched into the ship.
The soldiers all blinked in surprise that the best soldier of the PTO was actually considering leaving New Namek before he was fully done with his business on it, but figured the man had some kind of plan up his sleeve. Captain Ginyu was known to be rather cunning and tricky when the mood struck him, and he likely planned to fight back against this as-of-now still unnamed Saiyan woman that bested him. The fact the man thought his current level of power still wasn't enough to beat the Saiyan woman he mentioned indicated he must still feel outmatched by her. That made all the soldiers feel a sense of nervousness, since none of them were as strong as the Captain, and it terrified them the man was still seeking out some more avenues of power to deal with this woman they were only just now hearing about. Thankfully the body snatcher gave them an early warning to stay away, so they were thankfully out of danger when this still-unnamed Saiyan came to New Namek.
The soldiers quickly organized themselves into a line, and quickly followed Captain Ginyu onto the ship. They all got into their positions while the eccentric body snatcher sat in the command chair located in the bridge of the ship, and reclined back in the seat with a sigh of relief since he was getting a chance to relax right now. He's been training himself into the ground and working hard on improving himself for the past while during his time in Heaven, and only now was he getting a chance to relax. Sure it upset his sense of pride to tuck his tail between his legs and flee New Namek, but he wasn't so prideful he couldn't recognize when he was at a disadvantage. He was gifted with another opportunity to become so much stronger, and he was going to take full advantage of said opportunity.
The ship let out a hum as it's engines powered up, and then it shot up into the air. It quickly raced through the atmosphere of New Namek, and then it was now back in Space once more after having been landed on said planet for a length of time that Captain Ginyu never kept track of. He knew he could probably ask one of the technicians how long the ship had been sitting there since they landed on the planet, but he didn't care to find out. Right now, his focus was more on this very important quest to find one of these mystical 'seeds' that he could exploit for his own ends. His eyes flashed a glowing red for a moment as he thought about the power he could potentially gain from one of them, his dark thoughts twisting and coiling around the depths of his corrupt soul.
Once the ship was out of New Namek's atmosphere and instead slowly floated around it in the depths of space, the technicians all started shouting various reports about the ship to him that he acknowledged verbally. Reclining back in his command chair some more, Captain Ginyu waited for all the reports to come in before he started issuing any orders to the crew. The eccentric soldier wanted to make sure everything was working to optimal capacity before he started plotting courses for any places that may or may not have information on the things he was looking for. There were a number of places he could go to seek out more information about these seeds, but he knew it would cost a lot of credits to contact these sources. Normally he wouldn't waste his money in such a way, but the leader of the Ginyu Force believed that drastic times called for drastic measures.
That's when he remembered there was one particular place he could go to, see a woman he hasn't talked to in a long time. Opening his eyes and having come to a decision on where to go, Captain Ginyu barked an order out at the engineers.
"Take me to Planet Frieza 374, I wish to see Madame Clairvo and ask her about what I'm searching for! Full speed ahead, I want to be there as quickly as possible!" he said to them over their scouters. He got verbal responses from each engineer reporting in over their own scouters, and he sat back with a look of smug joy on his face as the planets and stars proceeded to zoom by on the viewing screen in the ship's control room.
He honestly didn't know how long it's been since he last saw Madame Clairvo, but he was eager to see her again. She was an old acquaintance of his from back when he was still a lowly grunt in the PTO's military branch that's really helped him succeed in life when he desperately needed some guidance. Captain Ginyu didn't know if she would be willing to help him find what he was looking for, but he was willing to make it worth her while if she said yes. Provided that her abilities could actually help him find what he was looking for, anyway. The eccentric body snatcher was desperate to make more progress.
"Sir, course has been routed for Planet Frieza 374! We shall be there in a few days, sir!" said one of the engineers now that the ship headed deeper into space and further away from Planet New Namek. This caused Captain to smile with dark satisfaction, and he had to avoid breaking out into a fit of dark laughter, because he was getting one step closer to his goal of obtaining more power. Thankful that his orders were being followed in such an efficient manner, he thanked the man for his report and let the members of the crew know he would be training in the Gravity Room for the days of travel it would take to reach their destination. Once the crew promised to inform him of when they were approaching Frieza 374, he stood up from his command chair and quickly entered the gravity room to do some remedial training.
Captain Ginyu didn't know how much time he spent training over the course of the trip to Planet Frieza 374, all he knew was that the training he was doing helped him pass the time in ways that he was thankful for. Trips through space had always been very boring, especially when he was all by himself. Thankfully the solo trips to space were a ting of the past, as he had a fully loaded crew on this ship operating and overseeing things instead of an incompetent AI. Due to this, he could actually strike up conversations with people and pass the time shooting the breeze with people whenever he wasn't in the mood to train. The eccentric body snatcher was more than grateful for this, as he would probably have gone stir crazy by now if he didn't have a crew of organics with him.
He was about to stand up and head towards the Gravity Machine again, when one of the engineers caught his attention by speaking.
"Pardon me for interrupting your thinking, Captain Ginyu, but I have an update, sir! We are approaching Planet Frieza 374, so you might want to brace yourself!" said the engineer, causing the elite soldier's eyes to light up with a sense of glee. He was thrilled that the trip to their destination was almost over, and quickly braced himself for the landing that was coming. As soon as the ship touched down on one of the official landing pads, he stood up from his command chair and addressed the crew.
"We won't be staying long, so I command all of you to remain at your stations. Our trip here isn't one for pleasure like it would normally be, this is strictly a business meeting between myself and Madame Clairvo. I will meet with her to get her guidance on our journey, and then we'll quickly head back into space for the next part of our trip. Am I understood, men?" he said to all of the ship's crew members. Once he got verbal confirmation from the low-ranked men operating his ship, Captain Ginyu smirked and offered all of them a salute before he then exited the ship.
His surroundings on the outside were filled with various neon lights and buildings decorated with vibrant colors. Numerous amounts of these buildings were either hotels or casinos, since Planet Frieza 374 is called 'The Gambling Capital of the Empire'. He's spent a number of his vacations here, but sadly he wasn't here on a vacation today. He was all business right now, and was in something of a hurry to meet with the woman he's come to see so he could head back into space and continue his quest for more power. While he loved vacation days as much as every other soldier, he couldn't turn this into a pleasure trip no matter how much he would love to do so.
He entered the largest, and also most successful, casino the planet had, then walked up to the reception desk. The Brenchian woman paid him no mind as he approached, not even bothering to spare him a momentary glance. Normally Captain Ginyu would feel a bit insulted by that, but she was likely so used to people coming in and out that she's learned to multi-task and therefore was capable of seeing that someone was actually standing in front of her. He was about to clear his throat in order to grab her attention when the woman didn't greet him, but thankfully he didn't have to. The woman beat him to the punch by speaking up to acknowledge his presence.
"Welcome to the glorious Palace of Predicted Fortune, where your chances of financial ruin are as likely as your chances of financial gain. Please give me your name and other important details so that I can log you into the system and grant you permission to enter" she said in a bored tone of voice, again not even looking up at him. Feeling a sense of amusement about how oblivious this woman was being in regards to his presence, Captain Ginyu was tempted to just give her a fake name and see if she would look up to verify that he was being legit, but ultimately decided against it. Being the highly ranked soldier that he was, he could use his pull to get higher quality access to the casino with pretty much no issue. Deciding to make use of his status, he spoke up in a very exuberant tone of voice.
"The illustrious Captain Ginyu reporting in, here to see Madame Clairvo about a very important issue!" was his response. The woman happened to be taking a very bored sip of her coffee, but she then choked on it when she heard the 'customer' give her his name. Pounding her throat to force the coffee down, she took several deep breaths and stared up at him in surprise and awe. Just as the 'customer' stated, right there in front of her was none other than the greatly respected leader of the Ginyu Force. She sputtered out words and tried to compose herself, but was only barely able to register the man into the system of today's visitors.
"Y-Yes sir, you're registered! Please take this diamond visitor's badge, and enjoy everything we have to offer!" she stuttered out as she nervously pulled one of the diamond badges from the plastic bins behind her and held it out for the man to take. Offering her a pleasant smile and salute, he took the badge into his hands and clipped it to the right side of his breast plate. Whistling a jaunty tune to himself, the eccentric body snatcher entered a pair of doors that had the image of a crystal ball surrounded by stars on them, and wrinkled his nose at the strong scent of sage in the room. There behind a glowing crystal ball, sat in a chair, was a pink-haired woman wearing provocative clothing that giggled when she saw him.
The woman waved the body snatcher forward, and Captain Ginyu offered her a polite smile as he wandered over to her and took the seat on the opposite side of the table from her.
"Greetings, Madame Clairvo, you are always a wonderful sight to see! I'm not even going to bother asking you about what I've come here for, as I'm very sure you already know thanks to your Future Sight abilities! I will compliment you on retaining your divine beauty though, for you as lovely as the day I met you for the first time all those decades ago!" he said to her in a very flattering manner. This caused the woman now identified as Madame Clairvo to giggle even louder, fluttering her eyelashes in a rather flirtatious manner at the obvious, but still very honest, flattery that the gentlemanly soldier never ceased to give her whenever they met.
"Ah Captain Ginyu, always the charmer with the ladies. You assume correctly that I do know why you're here to see me, and sadly it's once again because of business. I wish you would come to see more often just for fun, but business before pleasure is your motto. You are here because you wish for me to find out if these seeds you've heard about actually work like you've been told, and where you can find them if they do, correct?" she said to him in a melodious tone of voice. No longer surprised by how accurate her 'guesses' were, the eccentric body snatcher twitched his lips up into a smile and bowed his head in confirmation.
"The seeds you've been told about, belong to something called the Tree of Might. They do exist, and they work exactly as you've been told, so your coming to see me has brought you good fortune since I know exactly where you can find one. Normally I wouldn't lead someone to the seeds of this evil tree, but I've known you for a long time. While part of your desire comes down to selfishness, at the same time you wish to bring more glory and safety to the empire. I shall tell you where you can find one of them, but like always I'll give you the choice of backing out in case you have some doubts" she said, continuing once Captain Ginyu gave her confirmation that he wanted to hear more.
Part of him did feel a little uneasy about draining a potential great planet for the Empire just to make himself stronger, but his desperation for more power was something that he just couldn't ignore. As strong as he's become now, he knew very well that he could still become so much stronger. Since his current power at the time he lost to that damnable Saiyan wench wasn't enough, all the training he did in Heaven and his search for these seeds were something he felt were necessary. The decorated, veteran soldier of the PTO was determined to increase his power and abilities in combat as much as possible before he tracked that woman down and issued some payback. Trying to make use of these seeds to grow fruit he could consume to make himself drastically stronger was just one more avenue for him to take advantage of.
He offered Madame Clairvo a thankful smile, but indicated for her to get on with it. In response, the sultry psychic mage channeled power into her crystal ball, and started letting out chants. The phrases she chanted out were rather alien to him like always, as he couldn't understand them for the life of him. He didn't really care about that though, he was more concerned with the thing he's come here to see her for, and he wouldn't let anything or anyone distract him from that goal. Captain Ginyu could tell Madame Clairvo wasn't too keen on giving him the information he wanted, but he was glad that she decided to be forthcoming about it.
As she continued chanting, the dimly lit room lit up in a bright white due to the shine of her crystal ball. It was so bright that Captain Ginyu had to shield his eyes from the bright light so that they didn't searing with pain from being so close to the light. He did notice via his peripheral vision that the bright light vanished, and the room had returned to it's original, dimly light state. Taking his hands away from his eyes, the eccentric body snatcher was surprised to see some glowing golden seed sitting on the table. It was in between where the elite soldier was sitting, and Madame Clairvo's crystal ball.
Tilting his head to the side in curiosity at the sight of the mysterious golden seed, he picked it up and started examining it very closely. His visible curiosity made him examine it in such a rather comical, cartoonish manner, that it caused the fortune teller to let out giggles of amusement. Although he was very eccentric and unshakably loyal to a cruel, selfish tyrant, Captain Ginyu was very pleasant every time he came to see her. While she wasn't a fan of using her talents to entertain and guide worthless meathead soldiers that served the same tyrant the alien in front of her did, the fact he's always been so polite and courteous to her was enough to convince her to help him. Madame Clairvo wouldn't be able to sway him from his mindset, despite her warnings about what his continued serving of the Frieza Force could do to him in the long run, but he's always ignored her on that front.
"Normally I would never help anyone get their hands on those disgusting things, it's only because of our closeness that I decided to make an exception. Although you use your power and abilities to serve a tyrant, and are something of a corrupted soul yourself, it is only because of our personal friendship that I made an exception. Be warned that the power you gain may be so massive you could potentially explode if you aren't capable of handling a significant boost in power" Madame Clairvo said in a despondent and resigned manner. Captain Ginyu stopped his examining of the seed she summoned to him, and threw her a thankful smile.
He was aware she very much hated the idea of wiping out life anywhere for any reason, and would therefore hate the idea of this 'Tree of Might' stuff one of the lower-ranked soldiers told him about. Captain Ginyu was grateful that she decided to be a good sport and give him what he wanted instead of trying to sway him from doing anything he felt was necessary. He hasn't listened to her warnings about his mindset before, and he wasn't about to start doing it now. The eccentric officer held great respect for Madame Clairvo, but she would never be able to understand the sheer depths of his loyalty and devotion to the Emperor or convince him to seek out another path in life. No matter how respected the fortune teller, anything she said that went against his ideals were words to be ignored.
"I appreciate the help you've given me, Madame Clairvo! I know you're reluctant to offer me aid when you know the kinds of things I do, but I can't put into words how grateful I am for all the help and advice you've given me over the years! Rest assured that when I use this seed to obtain more power, I will do everything in my power to make the process as quick and painless as I can! I despise the thought of ruining a potential planet the Galactic Frieza Empire could have profited off of, but I firmly believe that my current plan is necessary! I know you're likely a very busy woman, so I shall get out of your hair now!" he said as he stood up from his chair, pushing it in once he stepped to the side.
Offering her a bow and a kiss on the back of her hand, he stood back up and saluted her.
"I believe it's time for me to go now, my lady! So goodbye for now, Madame Clairvo, I look forward to seeing you again!" the more-exuberant-than-usual Captain Ginyu said to the fortune teller as he pocketed the seed and left the room, leaving the fortune teller alone with the natural ambiance of her 'office'.
