Personality: Calm, Adventurous, generous, advising, loyal, serious, comforting, open-minded, brave, and courageous, these are the traits that define Callion; a proud Saiyan of the Planet Natuhb. Like many who were born and raised on the homeworld of Planet Vegeta, homeworld of the mighty Saiyan Race, he inherited the passion and desire to train and fight those who were worth the time for combat, and yet unlike his fellow kin, he had also learnt how to focus and temper such an instinct desire. A Saiyan warrior, one that was raised by the Natuhbian Monks to transform his body, and mind, and ki into energy, using the primal fighting instincts of his people when necessary to truly unleash it's full potential.
A surprisingly good-natured Saiyan, Callion lives with an tranquil demeanour, finding joy in the life regardless of the simplicities or how grand it is, and what is unique about this Saiyan in particular, is the fact that living the Natuhbian Monk way of life; living in the moment, embracing life, peace, and training with all hands, and enjoying every meal and taking time with those he sees as family as if it was his last. He is a person that amazingly enough shows respect to others, speaks calmly and actually tries to resolve a conflict without the use of force. Though of course, he is not one to be completely left without a spine, and is certainly not blind to know when to fight should no other alternative action's be met, he will not hesitate to defend himself or those who cannot protect themselves.
Though he enjoys a life of peace and seeking inner peace through philosophy and examining the world around him, he is not blind to know of the dangers that surround him. In extreme circumstances, Callion can adopt a much more serious and determined disposition, one that truly resembles that of a Saiyan Warrior.
History:
“The person who can freely acknowledge that life is full of difficulties can be free, because they are acknowledging the nature of life – that it can’t be much else.” ~ Callion on his thoughts regarding the freedom and adapting to one's role in the Universe with the Natuhbian Monks.
The Saiyan pod hurled in the darkness of Space, eventually crash landing on the Cold, snowy, mountainous planet known as Natuhb, the pinpoint location of the pod had crash landed close to a Natubian Grand Temple of Lapen. Two Natuhbian wandering Monks stumbled upon the Saiyan pod, seeing the baby crying in shock, fear and also shivering the immense cold of the Planet. The monks feared this day would come, but even they would not dare allow the Saiyan baby to freeze to death. As it was custom for their people, they took the baby to the Grand Temple, and a Meeting was called to discuss the fate of the Baby. All Natuhbian Monks, alongside the Leading head of the Monks; Her Holiness the Ialad Amal.
Many monks were initially against the idea of raising the Saiyan baby upon their world, let alone raising the child in their way of life, since their history of fighting against and repelling the Saiyan Race was a tale as old as time. However, the Ialad Amal decided to raise the Child as if he was her own, which both surprised and shocked the rest of the Monks. After the initial outburst had eventually calmed, one of the vast monks questioned as to why she had come to such a decision. Her response was simple and short; "For if we were to deny a baby the gift of life, we will become just as bad... No... Worst than the Saiyans. I have foreseen the destruction of their world and Race in a dream. It is charge to protect, defend, and raise those that are in a time of Crisis. Who among you will take the life of a baby?" In that instance, the vast monks within the Grand Temple were silent, they knew full well she was right, and it was for the words of the Ialad Amal herself, that Callion was allowed to live and to be raised amongst the Brightest and Strongest among the Temple.
For upbringing, however, was that of many, many Saiyan babies... An absolute Nightmare.
Callion's upbringing in the Grand Temple was a constant, never-ending nuisance: Fighting the younger monks within the temple, destruction of property and personal goods, even going so far to attack Ialad Amal herself at multiple occasions. A clear demonstration of the Saiyan blood that boiled within the child's veins. Yet, again and again her Holiness managed to not only easily out manoeuvre the young warrior at every moment, but also learnt how to calm such a fiery rage. Take every instance to show and demonstrate how to focus such primal instincts into over uses. As soon as Callion could walk and talk, the Ialad Amal took Callion on a Spirit Walk across the vast mountains, and even personally training the young Saiyan warrior. The talks they had with one another truly reminiscent that of a wise Grandmother listening to her Grandson.
The bond between teach and student grew through time, patience and training. Callion slowly learnt the Natuhbian way of life, adapting to how they lived, trained, fought, and prayed. With that dedication, and trust that the Saiyan was capable of behaving himself, the Monks began to slowly open up to the young boy, fully taking him in as, finally, one of their own; a Brother amongst the Grand Temple. Eventually through the passage of time, Callion went on the Spirit Walks on his own, training by himself during the more severe and harsh weathers the planet had to offer the Saiyan, that fiery blood of the warrior race never died, his Elite heritage continued to light the way in making Callion stronger than ever, alongside his education and focused, and tempered training. Callion had become a proud young man, fighting the vicious monsters that threatened the monks on their spirit walk, adapting well to their lifestyle, educated and surprisingly wise for his years; the Gift of Life had blossomed into transforming a Baby that was standing between life and death into a strong and capable man.
Alas, it was that time that he truly explored the world. Ialad Amal presented to Callion the Saiyan pod, the same relic that brought him into the planet when he was a baby. Her Holiness explained that it was time to find his own kind, hopefully those that were still alive and perhaps may have managed to blossom over the vast years since the initial destruction of Planet Vegeta, unaware of it's sudden revival by unknown forces. A loving embrace, and reminder that Callion was always welcome back to their world, he left the Planet Natuhb. The pod having made one destination that managed to picked up any sign of Saiyan activity...
The Planet Earth.
Sample RP:
Chaos was an understatement. The shambolic destruction of the vast Canyon across the plains from one ridge to another was marked contrast to the remaining landscape drawn up, intact, clinging onto the solid foundation that was the pillars on the right flank, it was left unharmed amidst the vigorous training of Callion. Tens of thousands of rock debris and dust dispersed, raining down on the darkness below, cracked sedimentary rock reflecting soft in the dawning rays of the sun, a testament to the countless years of Planetary formation that has developed such sturdy and formidable rock. But it was not the fact that Callion was merely attempting to destroy or lack thereof eliminating debris or stone and boulder, nor was it a need for senseless violence; quite the contrary. It was a test of reflexes, strength and precision in one full combination that the Saiyan was practicing on his own, for, in the absence of actual training equipment he had to made do with anything the planet naturally provided, and it was in an abundant supply. The cracks upon the surface of the rocky walls played a vital role in Callion's training, for they too, were indications to have far he was mentally imaging his training.
It was a coordination of attacks dancing in tune of precise sequences of impaling his fist into the surface rock.
Callion grimaced for a moment as he watched the mile long rocky wall across the ride side of the canyon began to quiver and collapse, in the form of an avalanche, under his personal training, bawl and beat the falling debris of falling rocks against one another in a display of ferocious speed and frightening strength, flurry of blows having changed in sequences multiple times since the start of each attacking sequence. How harder and faster can he push himself, he wondered, glaring his eyes and surveying the canyon that had vastly remained unscathed, since his arrival, onto the very planet he called his new home. How, in under a month no less since Callion had landed on Earth, having been living off of the land, sea, and sky, had his training reached the point that he could topple down canyons of rock and sedimentary formation? Perhaps each Planets solid rock was different to one another.
Callion closed his eyes and took a calm breath of fresh air into his lungs, and slowly exhaled as his heart slowly beat per minute, feeling the pulse within his veins, the adrenaline began to focus with the ignition of the Saiyan powering up in a subtle manner. By speed and sudden advance, Callion dashed across the air, descending upon both sides of the Canyon with a bust of agility in the heat of the moment. Callion's response to this new form of training was simple; precise training amplified with speed and manoeuvrability in a short period of time. Within the span of a single moment, Callion stopped, floating in mid-air, as the part of the Canyon behind him erupted with a vibrant explosion of rock, dust and wind.
Thus, the training had come to an end for the time remaining as it was in his nature to not gain any further attention of strong fighters to hear such a sudden erupting sound of rocks exploding. It was on the soft, grass plains that Callion landed, his feet meeting the soft, soil ground that welcomed him, with the leftover dust that began to disperse once the landscape had, at last, began to calm and relax now that the Saiyan's training was over. Callion looked at his hands, bruised, scrapped, even slightly bloodied from such methods of working out, but it was paying off. He smiled and looked up to the sky...
He was getting stronger, and on the right track to becoming a proud warrior and a vigilant monk.
