Name: Taking the band apart ⍟ Requirements: 3,000 WC Minimum | Must have completed journey to the hell star! Rewards: 1,000z | 200 XP | 500 SP | 2 TP | 2 saga tokens Description: You are suddenly attacked by a group of four alien beings. Given that they aren't Yardratians, they're probably native to this moon that's been hovering over the planet. They go on to inform you that they are Spice, Mustard, Salt, and Vinegar. A fighting force together referred to as the four heavenly kings of the demon clan. Beat these spice boys to a pulp and you'll prevent them from coming to Garlic jr's aid!
The trio came to a stop not too deep beneath the surface of the moon, Asterion having pointed out a presence that Brisket hadn't sensed. The problem with the ability to sense energy was that it was easily fooled by lowering one's power level. Fortunately the Lismian's nose had no such limitations.
Kintsuki called out a threat to turn this planet into space dust, Brisket rolling her eyes at it before someone actually did just that.
From out of the darkened sections of the tunnel ahead of them stepped four figures. Each of them had a different pastel skin tone, and the majority of them were about as tall as Asterion, towering over Brisket thanks to her short stature. Though one was about the size of a child, even Brisket being taller than him.
Their clothing was different to the Yardratian style that at least the two time patrollers had been looking at for around a week now. It looked more...hard to put into words...Horny? No....no that wasn't it. It wasn't entirely unlike Planet trade armor, though the materials were obviously different. There were also holes cut out in random places to show off their physique
“Greetings intruders.” One of them spoke, likely being the leader. He had powder blue skin, white hair that stood on end as though he were a super Saiyan, and was garbed in pink and black with an odd yellow cape. Her assumption about his station was mostly based on the cape. “We are the Mazoku Shiten'no. We need you to go back to...wherever it is you came from. The master is quite busy and has no time for visitors.” The tall blue one explained.
“Your master is this Garlic junior guy?” Brisket asked, watching the four of them as their expressions changed. Each of them had sudden concern painted on their face.
“THEY KNOW TOO MUCH!” The small red one shouted. “WHAT DO WE DO, SPICE!” it continued, Brisket looking from the small red one to the tall blue one as it spoke, noting the fact it was called Spice.
“They do indeed, Salt.” Spice replied, Brisket looking to the small red one and noting down it's name. What a goofy name for a guy that looked like that. When she considered it she personally pictured someone who was made of something more stern. Probably with a more bitchin' hat. “For the sake of the master, they must be eliminated! We'll be in serious trouble if they stumble upon the Sacred water mist!”
Brisket nodded, continuing to make mental notes. She'd discovered over their time in this era that some enemies would just spill all the beans if you didn't interrupt them.
“Mustard, Salt, Vinegar! Take these fools down!” Spice bellowed before waving his hand, cape swishing dramatically as he did so. Salt immediately threw his hands forward, unleashing a stream of red light towards the group, the other two muscular creatures darting around the edges of the blast.
Brisket simply raised her hand, coating it in her own energy before the red light smashed into her palm. The stream of light built up into an orb against her palm, failing to pierce through her guard at all. With a simple pump of her elbow she turned the red orb back into a beam that hurtled straight at the creature who'd originally fired it.
“OH JEEZ!” Salt bellowed as he threw his hands up, catching the stream of light before suddenly bee lining backwards down the tunnel against the force of it.
“Look, guys, I get it. Really, I do. But if you surrender, you're really going to be saving us some time.” Brisket commented, palm still raised as she propelled the beam down the hall with small amounts of her own energy. “Not to mention no one will get hurt. The longer we do this the more likely it is you'll die.”
Another of the tall ones, this one brown skinned, brown haired, and naturally horned, came shooting at Brisket with a fist pulled back. “Hang on, Salt, Mustard's coming!” he called out.
The cavern that Asterion had seen when they'd been looking out into the distance had looked steadily more man-made as they'd drawn closer to it, and while none of them were particularly keen-eyed enough to see it from a distance, there was no mistaking the fact that as they drew up closer to the building that this was an entrance deeper into the depths of the planet. Or moon. Or whatever the hell this thing was. Star?
Regardless, Asterion's nose had led them unerringly forward and as they had come closer, it had gotten more and more pungent in terms of scent, to the point where he was mostly just kind of annoyed at all the smells that were coming his way. But he didn't back down or balk at the work they needed to do, and instead continued onward alongside Brisket and Kintsuki, giving the other saiyan fellow a glance now and then. The young man seemed to have destruction at the forefront of his mind which wasn't always a bad thing per se, but they needed some information out of here first.
He shook his head as they drew closer to the darker areas within the earthen bowels... and then all of a sudden there were four people that were coming out of the shadows of the cave. Asterion arched a brow as they began to talk, content to just let them go at it. Much like Brisket had learned, he had found that those who were part of the bad side tended to just kind of gab at one another. it was worse in groups though, and Asterion knew that he too had given up information by accident when talking with Brisket too, so it wasn't something consigned just to the baddies. It was just the nature of fighting in a group.
He had absently started to wonder how often that had happened with the Ginyu Force when Brisket brought up Garlic Jr, and that seemed to set all of them into a tizzy that lasted all of a few seconds before they decided to attack their group. Aster frowned, reaching up a hand to scratch at the back of his head. "Dudes, I don't really think this is the best choice you can make," he responded. While he couldn't sense them, he did have a general sense for how strong they were and currently he didn't really find them to be all that powerful.
All the same, as the shorter one fired a blast at Brisket, that was simply reversed with very little effort from the woman, who then offered her own level of warning to the group to let them know that things weren't really in their favor at the moment. All the same, the large yellow one started to come around the side, and Asterion glanced to Kintsuki. "Yo. Take out the purple one, dude," he spoke, referring to Vinegar, before he darted around to where the one named Mustard was coming after Brisket.
Aster wasn't in any level of concern over these guys, but all the same, he didn't let his guard completely drop, either. He felt that if he were too overconfident they might find a weak point or at the very least, get a lucky shot on him. He shook his head as he shifted forward, and as the large creature threw a powerful right straight toward them, he lifted his left hand, and slammed it forward, catching the fist. "Not too bad, dude," he spoke, giving Mustard a grin before his hand flexed, gripping the fist and pulling the other forward.
Stepping in at the same time, Asterion bent his right arm, slamming his forearm directly into the armored sternum of Mustard, sending him hurtling backward as well, bouncing along the ground for a minute. It wasn't a strong enough blow to kill him, at least Aster hoped not, judging by the power behind the initial punch that Mustard had thrown... but it would send him into a little bit of a loop for a minute. He took up a stance alongside Brisket, the two entering into their Wolf and Dragon style of combat, allowing him to deal with anyone that got too close... and letting her get all blasters fired on anyone who thought to assail them from afar.
As they continued walking he could only wonder why it was so easy, after all Garlic Jr. was a cocky bastard but he was not this dumb. Maybe the rumors about him were wrong? Either way when the larger person stopped them "Kintsuki" Can see why as suddenly four people appeared and starting talking about who they were. Honestly he did not much care for it and tuned them out after a tiny bit the group seems to be ready to attack, with Aster turning to him and telling him to get the purple one. Before he can respond that he should tell him what to do Aster was already on his way.
And so with a sigh he looks to his target as the purple one looks to him and laughs saying "Ha looks like they gave me the weak one to fight. Oh well I guess I can war—" Being cut off as "Kintsuki" had an elbow in his gut. While not a physical attacker these ones are weak enough that even he can deal with them. Before the purple one can react He kicks outwards forcing the purple one on the ground and puts a foot on his neck saying to him "Sorry buddy but I don't exactly care enough for bantering during fights, and you are so weak I don't care enough to try and learn who you are. And so I will give you a death that I think a no one like you deserves" The alien opened his mouth as if to retort however he does not let him speak.
charging a ball of ki on his finger as big as a golf ball. He then fires it into the torso of the alien causing a bruise but not having enough power to puncture the skin. That being fine with him as he continues charging the ball and firing a beam into the torso by the 5th time the bruise has become large enough to cover most of his chest and is an even deeper purple then the alien himself is. By the 10th time he fired a beam of energy into the chest the alien actively coughs out bits of blood showing that he is causing internal problems. His foot no longer on the neck of the alien since he is to weak to do anything.
Now that he is done with his "fight" He turns and watches the other two. Seeing that the fight they are doing is far from done. Not bothering to help since if they wanted to they could easily end the aliens they are fighting. But from what he remembers from Kintsuki's memories the girl at least would not kill so easily, and it seems that the larger one is the same. And so watching how their fights go in case he ever needs to fight them. "Kintsuki" tries his best to see and put in his mind far out of reach of Kintsuki so that he stays in the dark on everything going on.
Of course he also looks at the alien on the ground that is completely battered and barely able to move from what may as well have been multiple fists punching into his torso. While his arms and legs were not attacked he is still unable to really move them. Though every time that he would move more then a few inches Kintsuki without looking at him would charge another ball of ki and fire the beam into the aliens torso which would cause him to grunt in pain and stop moving. After a bit the alien stopped trying to move entirely since he did not want to get hurt even more. Though while he wants to kill them, he doubts the other two would. And so he decided to keep him alive in case they decided that they should all go alive. Or in case they need a hostage.
Brisket didn't break her concentration on what was before her, ignoring for the most part the brown skinned, curved horned creature shooting straight toward her. This wasn't due to confidence or any knowledge that she possessed the creature did not. It was simply that at her back was her partner.
On cue Asterion came out of the back line, catching the blow without much effort. He said something to the one called Mustard before sending it flying with a single blow. As expected of the Lismian hybrid's absurd strength.
The creature bounced and slid along the ground before coming to a stop, appearing winded. Grunting slightly Brisket swirled her hands, cutting off the flow of energy to the blast that was holding back the one called Salt.
Reflexively she slid into the dragon stance just behind Asterion as he took up his own. Wolf and Dragon knew no weakness, and here the creatures would learn why. A sudden rush of pressure came back down the cave, the small creature trotting back into view with the mass of energy held above his head. Sweat poured down it's features as it struggled to keep the mass of power together.
“Not gonna lie, that's pretty impressive.” Brisket admitted, glancing to Aster before looking back to the small warrior with the massive orb of energy. “You ain't seen.....nothing...yet!” Salt growled in return, bringing his hands together. Slowly the massive orb began to shrink, becoming a more compact, much harder to stop, mass of energy.
“Mustard!” Salt bellowed, throwing a punch that propelled the orb forward at Brisket and Aster. Mustard struggled to his feet and just managed to get clear as the orb barreled forward. “I got this one.” Brisket spoke, extending a hand toward the oncoming mass of energy. Exhaling she spread her fingers out, another burst of pressure flowing through the cave as the orb slowed, eventually coming to a stop. Swinging her right hand around at the wrist the orb was suddenly cut cleanly into several cube like sections. Closing her hand into a fist before once more opening her hand the broken sections of the orb suddenly shot down toward the duo as a rain of energy blasts. Smoke and debris from repeated impacts and explosions began to fill the cave. Brisket raised her other hand, making a move that parted the smoke with another burst of pressure.
When sight was cleared the duo of Salt and Mustard were still standing, protected by a dome of crimson light. Salt let a breath loose as the dome came down, sweating from the effort. For someone of his level he was presenting a pretty interesting front. Even if in dealing with it the patrollers hadn't even broken a sweat yet. A shout escaped the makyan duo as they burst forward. “I want to ask them some questions, don't kill them.” Brisket said aloud. Her words were not aimed at Asterion, for she knew her cousin would prefer it that way anyway; No, they were meant for the Saiyan who had sided with them and done little to abate her distrust, Kintsuki.
The two patrollers moved forward in unison, Brisket trailing behind Aster despite the gap in their speed. Once again Mustard attempted to clash with Asterion, the smaller Salt leaping to one side and powering an attack to hurl at the power house his friend was barely representing an obstacle to. Hurling his blast the light streaked toward Aster...before a blue blast from Brisket intercepted it and carried it off course into the cave wall. With a sudden booming shove Mustard was sent shooting through the air to crash down on top of Salt.
“You lot are stronger than you look.” Spice spoke, though didn't broke from his casual observance. “Perhaps we will need to draw upon the power of the Makyo star.....Salt, Mustard...quit messing around. We must clean up these intruders and return to the masters side before he completes the ritual.” Spice commanded.
Brisket again noted what the blue creature was saying before turning her gaze back onto the duo that was slowly climbing to their feet. “With pleasure, Spice!” Salt shouted, before assuming what Brisket knew as a traditional “power up” stance.
It looked like this was about to become more interesting...
The fact of the matter was, Asterion wasn't entirely sure why these guys were trying to put up as much of a fight as they were. It wasn't like they were doing a great job, but all the same, they kept wanting to keep pushing- he supposed that it came from the fighter's will, and he understood that (being part Saiyan) that the fight itself was part of the excitement. But the Makyans were... well, they weren't demons, per se, but they shared a lot of analogues with them, and they didn't tend to have that same reason for fighting that some of the more combat-oriented races did.
Aster's eyes narrowed slightly as the large sphere in Salt's hands began to expand further, and while he wasn't exactly afraid of it, he knew that unlike his father, he didn't have the ability to simply knock it away with sheer overwhelming strength. The way his father fought was completely different from his own style... and he knew that it had to do with the fact that he wasn't full Lismian. But thankfully, he didn't need to worry about the oncoming attack as Brisket smoothly stepped forward to take it on herself. Her skill with the aspects of Ki were quite impressive, and Asterion couldn't help but to grin as she turned it back around on them.
"Not too bad, dudes. Gonna have to try harder though!" he called cheerfully, ready to see what else they could bring up to the table. It didn't take long as the sudden change in pressure in the room came about from the wild, sudden aura that had appeared in the air around those two, the barrier protecting them from the return attack. "See! There you go!" he called out, glancing over as Kintsuki was currently overwhelming the fellow that he was going up against, and it didn't look like there was much chance that the man was going to survive the fight. Well damn- so much for interrogation.
Kintsuki seemed like he was kind of... still off. He was far more aggressive in his way that he fought, and while there were some saiyans like that, far and large, most of them were much more into the actual fight itself than the victory and would 'play with their food' as had often been said. But Kintsuki was doing none of that- he was simply breaking his foe down and seemingly eliminating him quickly without any other recourse. It was very much like a demon, and, of course, the only reason Asterion had those thoughts in mind was the fact that he had been considering the actions of the foes opposite him.
Brisket shouted a warning not to kill them to Kintsuki, and Asterion gave the fellow a side-glance, as if to confirm what he was going to do in response to that. But he didn't let his gaze linger, instead moving (without even needing to signal or communicate with one another) forward with Brisket watching his six, and he slammed into Mustard, holding the fellow back as Brisket dealt with the cover fire, and then Asterion hurled the large fellow toward the other one, the group of them collapsing in a heap before Spice called out for them to really start trying with the power of the Mayko Star.
Asterion paused, at that. Were they... not already using the power of the Makyo Star? Was this thing not the star? Maybe it was just sort of other thing? That made him a little worried for a moment as he glanced at his cousin. "I think it's time to get serious," he spoke, the fact that 'dude' was no longer appended to the end of his sentence enough to show her that he had already started to reach that point. It wasn't so much a 'powerup' for Asterion, or a 'transformation' as some of the others did, but simply this was him no longer pulling his punches against these guys.
He shifted his stance, waiting for Brisket as well, before their opponents began to gather their power, and Asterion could smell their energy increasing... the smell became more pungent, and he wrinkled his nose at the thought of it. "Let's see what you've got!" he called out as he shifted forward, clashing once more with Mustard, leaving Salt to his cousin again as the two worked in tandem as they often did. He kept the battlefield awareness to know if anyone was trying to sneak up on her... and he'd ensure she didn't take a hit if at all possible as his now-true strength was pitted against Mustard's Makyan-enhanced... and it seemed as if the Time Patrollers still had the edge!
'Kintsuki' continues to watch the two of them fight, since his was no longer in any fighting shape that is. He can admit even without their massive power advantage against him the teamwork that they show is flawless. The type that only happens after many life or death battles. That would be a problem in the future if they try to stop my plans. Maybe there is a way that I can separate them from each other. Or maybe he should get some allies that could help... Thoughts for later.
When Brisket asks to make sure that they should keep them alive, 'Kintsuki' nods to himself and looks at the one he went after. He is breathing... He thinks, just to make sure he walks up to the alien that he battered with finger beams. and kicks him a little with his foot and watches as he reacts showing he is not a corpse yet. Looking back to the other two Kintsuki says "Yeah see they are fine.. Well they are alive" saying mostly to himself when he hears one of the aliens mention using the power of the star.
He looks back to him and the two allies with a blank face for a few seconds saying "Fuck yeah I forgot, they can use the star to gain more power. Ah damn it!" Finishing that as he charges a large ball of ki in his hand that is larger then his head and turns around to kill the one he is fighting before he powers up. However it seems he did it while on the ground as when he turns around he gets punched in the face. His ball of ki getting launched into the direction of the other fighters, barely missing them all before detonating a part of the moon after hitting a large mountain shape... That is not there any longer.
After slamming into a wall that buried him under some rubble after the punch 'Kintsuki' starts seeing red from being injured by a being weaker then he is. With a yell he powers up more powerful then he was before the rubble being destroyed completely. Looking at the enemy, he seems tp power up even more preparing a large attack. Then he suddenly disappears from where he was. Violet ribbons of energy that looks serrated that suddenly rushes towards the purple alien with a speed that surpasses what 'Kintsuki' could do by himself. The purple alien even with the power boost has not seen an attack like this. And as such can't do anything as the energy goes through and wraps around the alien cutting into the flesh like a hot knife through butter the ribbons almost being a beautiful dance even if the macabre scene would make others gag.
While he expected the purple alien to be able to do nothing but die, it actually surprised him by instead leaping away from the dance of death he was caught in. However, it seems like he miscalculated because while he was no longer surrounded by energy lashes bleeding him slowly. To try and stop him from escaping the ribbons of energy wrapped around his right arm as tightly as it could and unleashed that energy. Severing the arm in half in a very clean cut that bled more then all the other wounds combined. Grabbing his arm the alien screams in pain as 'Kintsuki' shows up again. The energy coiling around themselves before he shows up looking on in disappointment. "Oh that looks painful, man and here I was worried about the star powering you up, I was told a few times that it is the same as a full moon for a sayian. If not better, and yet here you are slowly bleeding to death even with your moon. I would show you the power of mine. However you don't deserve to be crushed under the power of the mighty Oozaru"
The alien looks at him in pain and anger, but that does not mean much to him since the aliens thoughts and feeling are beneath him when they are so weak. Not paying attention to his opponet anymore since he does not interest him. Instead he looks back at the half sayians in their dance to try and learn as much as he possibly can. The alien he is fighting says some thing but he ignores them still. That is till a punch to the face causes 'Kintsuki' to look at him with death in his eyes for a little bit before calmly holding out a hand. The alien thinking it was an attack dodges something that does not come out. At first he looks confused before faster then he could blink a few chains of metal lash out and wrap around the neck and arm of the alien making it impossible for him to attack or leave. As the chains continue to slowly strangle him. his eyes seem to take on a dull glow and his voice seems to go a few octaves deeper in anger. "You know it has been a little bit since I have personally strangled the life out of somebody and it is as fun as I remember HAHAHA. I wonder what your lifeblood will taste like as it gets showered on my METAL HA" Laughing while talking and at the end. He seems to have gone off the end a little as his anger reached a new height that he did not know he had as the metal cuts even deeper threating to cut into the flesh and make him bleed even more then he currently is.
There was an odd shift in the energy she could sense. Like a resonation between the beings they were facing and the planet around them itself. This Makyo star place appeared to hide a great many secrets and these spice boys were able to draw upon them for one purpose or another. This one, though, seemed rather plain in its purpose.
Their rising power suddenly spiked, Both Mustard and Salt letting grunts loose as their physique became much larger and sculpted in sudden bursts. Each one grew taller and bulkier, their power increasing as well. The boost was sizable but multiplying a small amount of power, even by a large multiplier, did not yield the tremendous results that they might have thought it did.
It was like looking at a kaioken multiplier of eleven or so. They would handily win a battle against foes remotely their equal but the time patrollers had faced worse than this and come out on top. These spice guys were outclassed from the word jump.
Aster announced his intentions to get serious against these guys, Brisket even noting that he hadn't said the word dude. This is normally where she would turn into a Super Saiyan...but ever since training with Pybara, there was no point in doing so. It would merely be wasting energy now.
Instead of appearing to transform outwardly, her aura simply exploded upward around her, re-arranging her hair and bathing her in a white light. Aster moved then, engaging the one called Mustard. This left her to deal with the not-so-short-anymore Salt.
The now muscular Makyan already had his arms pulled back, ready to let the energy he was building up fly. Brisket simply watched passively as he brought his hands forward and fired, a torrent of amber energy that surged toward her with all the destructive promise of a tidal wave. The half Saiyan let it approach unchallenged as she studied it, eventually bringing her hands up and placing them together palms flat. Her aura blinked visibly before the beam came to a sudden stop, hanging in the air before her whilst twisting and whirling in place. Her own passive power being more than enough to keep the attack in check.
Salt grunted and groaned, attempting to feed the attack the power it would require to move but couldn't seem to find the strength. Exhaling audibly, Brisket placed one hand forward, pressing it against the frozen blast and simply twisted her arm at the elbow. The beam sudden began to whirl in the opposite direction, coming undone like a rope or other twisted length of material. Blasts scattered in all directions as it happened.
Salt suddenly took a step back in surprise, Brisket leaning forward before appearing to vanish. When she once again re-appeared her left leg was pressed against the larger Makyan’s torso, the transferred force of her sudden appearance being more than enough to simply blast the muscular creature backward through the air for it to plow into the wall of the cave they were stood in. Brisket moved to follow up but stopped at a shift in the energy around her, back stepping for a second she watched an energy blast whiz by her head. An attack from the blue skinned leader of the spice boys. Brisket turned her gaze toward him.
“Damned fools!” Spice shouted as he strode toward her. He stopped for a moment, suddenly gathering his own power before entering a similar transformation to Mustard and Salt. “I’ll have to handle this myself!” he continued before setting himself. In an instant he lurched forward toward her, Brisket simply seeming to vanish once again just as they would have collided. Spice dug his heels in, wheeling around to face behind him just as the half Saiyan re-appeared, touching down on the ground in a crouch. Rising to her feet, her aura began to radiate brighter around her before she threw her hands forward at Spice.
A war cry escaped Brisket as a dai kiaihou surged forward, smashing into Spice and sending him sliding along the ground a few dozen feet. She’d been trying to send him hurtling down the cave, but it appeared it wasn’t going to be that easy.
“I’ll assume you’re Garlics right hand man, then?” Brisket asked as she prepared to continue attacking.
“Of course. I’m the strongest of the mazoku shi-” Spice began to gloat, jutting a thumb at himself in satisfaction. He only just managed to dodge as Brisket crossed the distance between them and took a flying pot shot at his face.
The fact that Mustard didn't immediately turn into paste was a sign that the creature had bulked up considerably in regards to the Makyan Power that was flowing through him. Asterion could feel that he was about to meet some sort of interesting... rivalry with this guy. It was like there was a strange sense of that he was up against a rival- and given that Asterion was both Lismian and Saiyan, there were very few things that could push him like that. He had no need to just... completely let go, though. The Feral side of him would need to be caged and restrained- that was something he couldn't quite manage to let go, no matter how much he wanted to, sometimes.
Brisket would probably be the one who would most understand, although after her Pybara training, the woman was something else entirely. Whatever training she'd undergone and whatever she'd done seemed to have just elevated her power beyond what he had expected that she could be capable of. While the Time Patrollers were both highly skilled individuals, Asterion had felt himself start to slowly be outdistanced by her. It seemed that no matter how much he got stronger, she was always that much further ahead- and now her scent had completely changed into something else entirely with that training, something he couldn't copy. He'd tried- but it just didn't work, not for him. Wild, untamed power seemed to be his hallmark, and while it wasn't as clean as Brisket's, it was his.
Asterion's eyes narrowed as Mustard caught his fist, the blow starting to slow slightly, before the brute launched out an attack of his own, and Aster shifted forward into it, slamming his shoulder up against Mustard's fist. The man gave a low grunt in response to Asterion's sudden dart inward, but there was nothing that was stopping him from attacking anything further. The wolflike half-saiyan growled, the two seemingly at a deadlock until Asterion felt his own restraint starting to fade slightly more. Not a full release of the two beasts that lingered just behind his mind, waiting for the chance to unleash their strength on one another and the world at large, but enough to cause them to lurch forward just a bit more.
The mental chain that kept them at bay was lengthened just a little, and as it was, Asterion's hand that was caught by Mustard steadily began to move, his musculature flexing and flaring outward as he began to push that hand back away, leading to Asterion's own low growling sound in the back of his throat before he shifted forward, slamming a blow into Mustard's stomach. The punch was heavy, enough to send the other fighter actually back a step, despite his bulk. "What the hell!?" Mustard grunted out as the blow had stolen most of his breath, but he was still quite on his feet, but there was a single flash of golden brown from Asterion as he shot forward again toward his foe.
The flash was all that Mustard was able to see as Asterion let out a roaring growl, his fist lashing outward and slamming into the man's guard, breaking it in a single shot before a short uppercut followed. The blow hammered into the man's stomach, lifting the Makyan up into the air, and there was a hesitation before Asterion reared back, and then slammed his head forward into his opponent's. The attack was simple but brutal, in the way that Aster tended to fight when he was no longer holding back against his opponent. Mustard hurtled backward, slamming into the wall actually just a short distance from where Salt had been tossed by Brisket, leaving the Wolf free to assist the Dragon once more. He turned, and as he looked on, he saw Brisket already going to town against Spice... which left him open.
The dance being performed was almost too easy to see by Asterion, like he expected the others to simply pick up on it as well, but he could tell exactly what Brisket was doing- she was already aware that Aster was free to assist, and another well-placed blast caused Spice to avoid the attack, before Asterion was there, lunging forward like a wolf in the shadows. He grasped ahold of Spice in a bone-breaking bear hug that prevented the Makyan from moving... and leaving him wide open to any questions that needed to be ask, as Brisket helped Kintsuki finish off his own opponent, leaving them now to interrogate as needed.
