Personality: Inigo is a man of ideals. Shady, cunning, and violent ideals- but loyal to them nonetheless. His past has taught him one thing over and over again- Trust no one. He has little left to fear in life, facing down death time and time again. Jaded some may say but Inigo would instead describe it as a necessity of life to live on a knife's edge. Inigo is driven by revenge and he is determined to always have the last word. Those who have wronged him in the past and have not yet faced their retribution are always on his mind.
History:
Inigo grew up on the streets of North City, finding more comradery in the children he shared the alleys with than the "family" he had at the dingy and cramped apartment he called home. He grew up as a middle child in a family of 7 and with two drunkards for parents, it goes without saying how easy Inigo found it to slip further and further into the underbelly of citylife.
As he grew, so did his criminial abilties and ambitions. By his later teenage years, he had learned to hotwire street bikes- each one paying for a lavish lifestyle for a week or so... Soon enough however, he cut out the middle man and began scrapping and fencing the bikes himself, eventually earning himself quite the reputation for his mechanical know-how.
One fateful day he hotwired a bike belonging to a Red Ribbon Army officer who had business within the city. Upon returning the vehcile to his workshop, Inigo balked as he popped the engine compartment. The engine was unlike anything he had seen before, powered by some unknown force... For the next few days, Inigo studied the hardware, piecing together it's workings bit by bit. Soon after however, the Red Ribbon officer had tracked Inigo down... however instead of retribution, the officer came offering a job opportunity among the Red Ribbon engineers. The officer was so impressed with Inigo that he would have it no other way- In fact, rejecting the offer may have spelt Inigo's death.
Inigo served for years within the Army, trading his rogueish freedoms for a more stable and luxorious lifestyle. He ascended the ranks, even going so far as to captaining and piloting his own helicopter crew. However, his service lacked the gritty appeal that his former life left him longing for. In time, his spirit yearned for the former freedom he possessed and he retired with honors from the service.
Upon returning to the streets of North City, everything was different from what he remembered.. The police force seemed to have tripled in size and the rugged streets had been tamed. Even the slummiest parts of town had an unignorable presence of law keepers- not to mention the abundance of snitches... Without the daily routine of his service, Inigo fell to drinking just as his parents before him. It was at a bar where he found his new comrades... A bunch of rowdy bikers known as the North City Vandals. The Vandals took him in with open arms and with his mechanical background, he was a great asset to the gang- as he was able to repair nearly any hunk of junk they could get their hands on. They'd fence the rustbucket and line their coffers- just like in the old days.
The leader of the Vandals passed in an ambush attack from a rival gang and a power vaccuum resulted. Eventually, one of the Vandal's who grew to disdain and envy Inigo took the mantle of leadership and convinced the crew that Inigo had set up the murder. The Vandals turned on Inigo like rabid dogs, pulverizing him completely and leaving him out in the desert to die. This is where Inigo's story now begins...
Sample RP:
The shrill cry of a circling vulture echoed from the sky above like a grim alarm clock as Inigo lay motionless in some unknown sandy hellscape. His eyes fluttered weakly, both nearly swollen shut by the beating he received at the hands of his former mates, as stars blinked in and out of his vision. His issued a guttural choke as a wave of conscious washed over him suddenly, his body gulping for the last bit of life left in him. His skin was covered in caked sanguine sand and what little bits that weren't were burnt to a crisp by the intense sun. Inigo had the sensation of being a third party observer, completely separate from the suffering shell of a body that remained.
"Why am I still alive...?" He thought dreamily to himself as his eyes softly closed once more. Despite being out in the arid heat for hours he still felt cold. A shallow breath exited through his nostrils as his fingers twitched gently. He felt the sensation of a breeze gust over him, casting bits of debris over his face and chest. Another cry from the vulture above, 'Just die already'... "Heh, you wish..." He thought to himself, his lips weakly curling into a smirk.
Just then a rumbling could be heard from far off... but it was coming closer- and fast. Beneath him the sand began to quiver lightly. "What... what the hell?" He thought, becoming slightly annoyed that even his death couldn't be peaceful. The rumnbling of the engine grew closer until finally some shitty poppy music could be heard as well.
Unbenknownst to the ill-fated man, a group of adevnturous youths had been off-roading nearby and spotted Inigo from afar. By the time they had arrived, Inigo had fallen unconscious. In a panic, they heaved him into the back of their jeep and high tailed it back to North City, just in time to save Inigo's life...
