Personality:
Captain Ginyu is best described as an eccentric, but calm and loyal individual. Very composed and level-headed, he is the top soldier of Emperor Frieza himself. A bit hard-nosed, but very diligent and a bit of a butt-kisser when it comes to the man he serves. Although somewhat laid-back and caring towards his men, he tends to be a bit of a harsh taskmaster when it comes to things like posing drills, training, and fighting. He takes pride in being the best soldier in all of the PTO, and desires to ensure that Emperor Frieza reigns supreme over the entire universe.
The body snatcher is not particularly one for training himself since he can just steal bodies, but after suffering a humiliating defeat by body switching with a frog, he has since become more determined to train and master the art of Ki so that he never suffers another loss ever again. He demands perfection out of his squad of fighters, and get rather harsh whenever one of them men fails or doesn't show proper decorum in the current setting. Captain Ginyu's ultimate desire is to make sure that Emperor Frieza accomplishes everything he sets out to do.
History:
After the events to where Ginyu was attacked by Raditz, Mikan, and Cell, his location was tracked by members of the PTO who found him and the frog he swapped bodies with. They got them both on the ship and brought them back to a PTO World dedicated to advancing the technology of the empire. They managed to create a device that allowed him to speak, and he then performed his Body Change technique to get his old body back.
