Personality: In a word: Flighty. Azarla, better known by her stage name "Nebula", often indulges her impulses, taking very few things as seriously as she perhaps should. She's an otherwise cheerful girl if a bit seemingly aloof with a sweet tooth. She has a particular weakness for pudding; there isn't anything she wouldn't do for pudding. For the people who become her enemies, her default approach is to passively ignore them if not make childish jabs at their expense.
For her friends, she's fairly cheerful and often means the best, but that cheerfulness can at times, seem like a kind of aloofness. As long as the good times are rolling and her supply of pudding is never ending, Azarla is fairly personable. Just don't steal her pudding. She takes that personally.
Obviously, given her fickle demeanor most of the time, leadership roles are not up her alley. It's not that she doesn't have what it takes to draw a crowd and have people listen to her directions. She just lacks the desire to do it. She'd sooner let someone else handle all of the complicated stuff while she kicks back and takes it easy.
The only thing that you could really call a passion other than puddings and general thrill seeking is music. Both listening to it and singing herself. It's about the only thing she really feels like applying herself to.
History: If she ever had anything like parents, she sure doesn't remember them. Most of her memories consist of floating in a tank on some fancy ship with lots of odd-looking individuals dressed in white coats shuffling about a room that was coloured by the green fluid of the tank she vaguely recalled floating in. Occasionally, some imposing guy with no real hair to speak of, but a pair of horns and a stature that made him seem like he might have been the head honcho of some important organization - a King, maybe? - came to watch over her.
The memory after that was of the same room. Except this time, it wasn't coloured by the green fluid of the tank and she had a more...matured body and was clad in a black bio suit lined with purple lining along with purple sections on what might have been the sleeves to some gloves. What sort of looked like a lab was coloured instead, with flames. She could hear sirens blaring off in her ears, too.
Another blank. She couldn't really remember what came directly after that, but what she figured was a more recent memory was shooting across the skies of this blue planet she'd come to consider a home. She didn't really have any real shape during the descent and she definitely wasn't flying. Just falling - pretty rapidly at that - towards the ground like a shooting star until she crashed in the middle of a city.
As fortune would have it, she was picked up by an older woman who gave her a place to stay while she pieced things together and given her a name as well. For all intents and purposes, that woman was her mother. She provided food, shelter and care for her, but Azarla craved adventure, so staying put in one place wasn't on the menu for her for long, no matter how many games she had to occupy herself, or how much music she consumed.
