Personality: Snap is a silent gentleman, preferring to speak only when needed and in short sentences. He is quite open minded, willing to accept people of all types as long as they don’t tread on him or others. The former strongman loves to lift weights, spar, and aid in manual labor when possible. You can usually find him working out in his dojo in the woods. His biggest pet peeve is having his training interrupted.
Snap’s confidence (bordering on nihilism) is obvious, always flexing his huge muscles and posing. He likes to rely on raw physical force rather than ki based attacks when fighting. While he usually avoids fatal bouts with others, he’s more than willing to put his life on the line to stop evil.
History: Snap was born into a rather poor family in a remote village. They barely scraped by to make ends meet, going without basic necessities for days at a time. As a child, Snap was obsessed with getting stronger to provide for himself. At the age of 18, he joined a traveling circus; mostly out of need, and partly out of the chance to train. His standard act was lifting large animals or several people at once. He made several friends in the circus, some of which are still a part of the troupe. When he reached 25, he decided to return to his village in the hope of using his money and connections to improve life for his home.
He found his village abandoned, raided by bandits and routed out. Snap was devastated, and from that day forward he swore to protect innocent people to prevent others from going through what he experienced. For three years, he has trained in an old building near that same village. These days he aids wanderers and passers-by in any problems they have.
Sample RP: As he stepped out of his creaky dojo, Snap found himself in a rare predicament. Faced down and surrounded by a group of rough and dirty individuals, he realized something: The bandits came for him this time. Most bandits avoid him, knowing of his unending quest for vengeance. “So… you’re the guy that’s been giving us trouble all this time,” the bandit leader said with a sneer. “It’s too bad what happened to your village.”
Snap took on a serious look, lowering his brow and taking a step towards the leader. His aura alone made several of them gasp and back away in fear. “What, do you think you can take on all of us?”
The silent, agitated strongman said, “I will.”
As soon as he uttered those two words, a brave bandit sprinted from behind Snap, yelling and cursing. Snap barely turned his torso and grabbed him by the neck. Choking and gasping for the air that wouldn’t come, the bandit was roughly thrown and knocked out two of his fellow criminals. The rest of the bandits soon scattered and the few who stayed were beaten to a pulp. Only the leader remained, watching from a large tree. “So you aren’t a pushover, that’s good,” he exclaimed while taking a fighting stance. “This should be fun.”
Snap jumped forward and punched at the leader, narrowly missing his face. The leader pulled a knife and stabbed at Snap’s side, but the assailing arm was kneed in the elbow, forcing the lead bandit to drop the weapon. During that brief shock of pain, Snap delivered a whistling haymaker into the bandit’s skull, blowing the leader through two nearby trees.
The strongman walked over to the bandit leader. He was surprisingly conscious, something that would impress Snap if it weren’t for his agitated state. Snap grabbed him by the neck of his shirt. “Don’t come back… or else you won’t escape with your life.” The leader faintly nodded and scrambled away after being let go.
