Subject 31913 is unfamiliar with the world as a whole, having spent their entire life trapped within the science facility that they were created in. Despondent in most instances, they are brash and impulsive with their decisions, often stemming from their animalistic nature for self preservation. However they are aware that they are not completely an animal anymore, the little education she gleaned from her creators before her escape proving that despite being a bioweapon experiment gone awry, they are a being capable of above average intelligence.
Given that many of her interactions with other beings were often due to some medical or scientific testing, 31913 often prefers to be left alone to her own devices understandably. Many of the tests were not of a sanctioned nature by the standard of the general public. In fact her entire existence is not known to many, if any, beyond the premises of the facility that created her. And due to the lack of interaction with the outside world, she has only her primal instincts and limited interactions with the scientist to base her perspective of the world.
History:
Subject 31913 was not a creature born but rather created though illegal and unorthodox genetic testing. Using a feral creature as the base form, numerous strands of DNA were then altered and spliced into the host body in an attempt to create a bioweapon. However there was an accident upon the creature’s creation and Subject 31913 was let loose upon her creators. After subduing the rampaging newborn, 31913 was locked up in a containment cell for many weeks but the damage was already done. Several of the scientists that were originally in charge of the experiment were gravely injured, some of them fatally before 31913 was brought down.
Under heavy sedation the scientists deemed Subject 31913 could be reasonably controlled and trained to become what they wanted out of her. However the training they mentioned to their superiors was far from what they initiated. Numerous tests were conducted instead, many of which were of a non sanctioned nature to ascertain the physical capabilities of what they had managed to create. The results were to be used in future experiments and studies to better refine their research. When it came to mentally testing 31913 the results astonished the researchers and led several to voice concerns that the sedatives were not being as effective as they should have. That 31913 was showing too much intelligence and mental acuity to be classified as a mere test animal for their research. But like many illegal operations those in charge were only interested in the results and not the means in how they were achieved, a decision that would eventually come full circle.
Sample RP:
‘I hate sand.’ The line from that movie from so long ago rang out in their head. It was a horrible line and had detracted from the quality of acting it could have had but right now it was something that the woman could relate to. But what was she to do about it, it was not like they could leave the planet on their own volition. The current Don had her firmly within his debts and the being was far from accommodating when it came to those who owed him money. That was why she was out here in the ever shifting sands of the Torrath Plains while a sandstorm was brewing to set off towards the city half a day away, scavenging what parts she could from various wreckage that the desert had claimed. Sometimes there would be a good find, a crashed ship that was still new enough to have not have been completely stripped of parts by the corrosive like winds of blowing sand or other scavengers trying to make their own way in this hell hole of a planet. Nonetheless there was not much else the woman could do aside from trudge on in what she hoped was the right direction.
Before the winds had picked up and the storm had begun to brew, she had spotted that plume of smoke off in the distance. It was just a shame that she had to pack up the speeder into its travel form, the capsule-like item stored safely in its container inside her vest. There was no way she could afford to replace the filters and make her next payment to Don Kee so she really hoped that the storm subsided by the time she got to the source of the smoke, before anyone else did. Bartering with another scavenger group could be disastrous if they decided they wanted to be greedy and that violence was easily the best way to get what they wanted.
Thankfully as she crested one of the windswept dunes the sight of what she was looking for could be hazily seen in the distance, catching her by surprise. From what she could make out of the apparition it appeared to be some sort of facility, a facility whose protective bio dome had a large hole blown in it letting loose the smoke that was billowed up inside. However it was what was starting to be buried in the drifting sands below her that drew her attention in the end. Sliding down the dune, the scavenger found what appeared to be something of a cross between a girl and some sort of beast. Grayish white fur and black like scales covered her limbs and the long, thick tail protruding from her backside. What was disturbing was the clothing that they had on, a simple medical gown that was covered in blood and half shredded. Yet she could make out the logo on it and the collar that was shorting out on the bestial girl.
There was not much time to process it all though as a pair of voices called out from across the dune. Both looked armed and ready for combat, blaster rifles drawn and pointed in her direction. This was too much to get herself buried into but the possible payout that could be had. Removing personnel from enemy factions would look good in the Don’s eyes but being able to bring back the location and some goods of one of said faction’s facilities, well that certainly had to be worth a good payout.
