Ocarina is a young Namekian with a lot of heart. He attempts to do the right thing, but sometimes is a litte rash in his decision making, but he is trying to get better at it. He has a great respect for his elders and his people. Ocarina's main goal in like is to protect his people from threats outside of their planets. For a Namekian, he is has a knack for fighting, but he uses it for protecting his village from outsiders. If Ocarina isn't helping serve his village, he is usually off trying to train to become even stronger.
Because he is has always lived on Namek, Ocarina hasn't had a lot of interactions with other races of aliens in the universe. He has has only seen ruthless ones come to Namek seeking the Dragon Balls or have heard stories of space pirates from his elders. He doesn't hate other races, but he is cautious of their motives upon meeting them. He has hopes to leave Namek one day, but worries about leaving his people behind.
History:
Ocarina was a young Namekian when the first raid of his village occurred. Just a few weeks hatched from his eggs and ruthless Dragon Ball seekers were attacking. He was pushed inside the elders huts with other young Namekians. Most of them were shaking and crying, even the ones who were a little bit older than he was. Ocarina was frightened as well, but he was also curious to see what was happening. He pushed his way through the other children until he reached the front doorway of the hut and peered out to see what was happening.
The elder of the village was on his knees with his arms holding himself up. Blood was dripping down from his face where the invaders had struck him. The strangers were speaking to him, but it was hard to hear was they were saying over the sound of the other children crying. The invader rose his right arm to deliver fatal blow to his the village elder, but right as his arm started to swing downwards a blast of ki hit his shoulder.
Two more Namekians were flying in from the fields they had been tending. The invaders returned fire at the Namekians coming to protect their home. While all the commotion was going on, the village elder collapsed on the ground. Ocarina looked around, but everyone was too frightened to do anything. He quickly dashed out from the hut to retrieve the elder. When he was just a few feet from the elder a stray ki blast hit the ground in front of him sending him flying into the wall of a near by hut. Before Ocarina knew what had happened, he blacked out.
He awoke in a a bed a few hours later. He was informed that the two Namekians were able to fight off the invaders, but one of them had died of his injuries during the fight. The elder was healing in a bed next to him, but he would also recover. Ocarina was relieved that his village was safe, but he was also troubled. He was not able to protect his family in the village when it was attacked. He was completely helpless to do anything against the invaders. From that day going forwarded, Ocarina pushed himself to be stronger so that it would not happen again.
Sample RP: Sweat beat down on the back of Ocarina neck as he was crouched over a plowed field with a small hand shovel in his hand. The Namekian suns felt particularly hot this day. Using the shovel he dug a shallow hold in the ground and then reached for a small leather bag laying on the ground next to him. He shook the bag and their was a light rattling sound.
"Gonna need more Ajisa seeds," he thought to himself.
He held out his left and and shoot the bag with his right so that a few felt out into his hand. He dropped them into the hole he dug and grabbed his shovel off the ground to fill in the hole. After he was finished, he tied a string around the opening of the bag to seal it tight and stood up to gaze out of the field. There was hundreds of tiny mounds across the plowed field where he had buried other Ajisa seeds into the soil. He used his arm to swipe away the sweat on his brow as he admired his hard work. Ocarina picked up his equipment and walked back to a near by hut. There was another Namekian, about his age inside. This was was slightly shorter and wider, than Ocarina. He wore a brown vest over while pants. Ocarina have him a slight wave as he entered the hut and the Namekian nodded in acknowledgment.
After storing all his tools, Ocarina walked outside the hut and towards the edge of the island his village was on. He crouched down and dipped his hand into the cool green water. He splashed some on the back of his next and then scooped some up to drink. After cooling off for a moment, he stood up and looked across the sea to another island. The island like all the others was covered in rocks and blue grass. There were a few Ajisa trees, but they were few and far between. There were creators all over that island as if there was a massive battle there.
"Time to really start working," Ocarina said with a smile.
This was his favorite part of the day. Ocarina pushed off the ground and then flew off over the sea. Water sprayed at his sides as he flew by until he reached the other island. Once he was there Ocarina held out his hands and started blasting the ground as much and as fast as he could. After a few minutes his rapid firing of energy ceased and Ocarina stood floating over the island panting heavily. Younger Namekians of his village had come out of their huts and stood at the shoreline to watch Ocarina train. Older villagers would look up from what they were doing and either shake their head or just go back to what they were doing. Ocarina was an oddity among his peers because of how serious he took his training.
After he caught his breath, Ocarina started punching the air as rapidly as he could. The force of his punches made little boom noises as he punched the air. After punching for about ten minutes, he switched to kicking the air as fast as he could. He pictured in his mind those invaders from so many years ago. He remembered how powerless he felt which made him push himself even harder. Ocarina continued switching back and forth between punches, kicks, and ki blasts for hours. This had become a daily routine for him after he had finished his daily share of the work at his village.
