Thanks to the thousands of experiments done to Misery, she lacks the ability to know who she is anymore or what she wants to do. While she has free will, she struggles to make choices for herself. With the good part of her, fighting against the bad. The mix of DNA within her fighting with one another, each pushing different emotions on her.
The Demon DNA gave her a sense of almost terrible, evil power, grandeur and a lust to prove that she was the strongest being in all of existence. With the scorpion-like tail, she could drink those who got in her way and absorb their essence and grow stronger from it.
The Namekian DNA gave her stability, grounded calm and peace, which is often in contest with the Demon and the Saiyan. Often overruled by the other two. This DNA is what gives her an almost child-like interest in the world, a sense to be good and to not kill unless needed.
The Saiyan pushed her pride and strength, even further still, far beyond the limits of a simple demon. She wanted to prove that she was the strongest and the fact that no matter how far she falls that she can rise back up and grow ever more strong. It also gave her a thirst for destruction and maybe to rule over people.
History:
The original, Misery was a human who lived a life of seemingly never ending torment, thrown out on the streets, left to fend for herself. Barely scraping by stealing or scavenging from bins. Until a scientist took the girl to a lab, promised her food, warmth and a home in return for some small help with his work. A flimsy pretext for test dummy for thousands of experiments.
Reborn in this lab, the creature dubbed as Misery was created to be a weapon. The base of her body was human, once. But after years of painful genetic tests, enhancements and additions – none of the human DNA remains and only acts as a husk to carry the alterations.
Once, she had no will of her own. Lost to the many research and surgery done to her. She was merely a subject for whatever horrible ideas the mad man came up with next. Until, one day. All her inhibitions returned. Maybe it was the strange mix of DNA from Demons, Namekians and Saiyans alike that awoke something within Misery. With her demonic scorpion tail, she struck down everyone in the lab and drank their protoform, growing stronger thanks to their deaths. Now free, the mysterious Misery monster, once human, returns. Unsure what to do, if to kill more or to simply exist in her newfound freedom.
Her mind a blur of images, terror and pain. She ran and never looked back.
Sample RP:
A thin fog drifted in, over the black low-morning light, shielding her the desolate town. The creature dragged its body across the floor, slowly, and in great pain. The body writhed and shook almost as if it was resetting itself to a normal state.
Although, the girl’s body was barely clothed. Nothing she wore would hide the monstrous, creeping, toxic purple tail. It slammed against the concrete as it contorted up and down. Then, quite suddenly, the girl fell flat and limp. Her breath was slow and muffled. She lay in the middle of the road, head down, against the cold concrete.
A milk truck zoomed around a corner, clearly late for the morning delivery. The glass bottles jingled up and down in the truck. Without warning, the truck slid to a sharp stop, only inches away from the girl. The pincer tail had acted of its own accord. The spine, long and thin, had struck right through the tire. The truck tipped to one side, before righting itself. A torrent of broken glass and milk flew everywhere. Sending a ringing noise that cut through the morning silence.
The man, shaking, jumped down from the truck. Hanging onto the metal to keep himself up right, his legs were shaking so badly. Slowly his eyes moved from the truck to the tire, still with the spine of the scorpion stuck through it. Then up the still tail and to the girl who still lay face-down.
