Personality:
Cheerian’s are known universally for two things, a complete lack of emotion and a disregard for emotion. In regards to the first, Cerla could be described as fitting it perfectly with her monotone, almost tired voice and unmoving facial expressions. Her voice rarely rises or falls, and a collected calm seems to be her standard state of being. However, ask another Cheerian, and they would describe Cerla as overly emotional and maybe even hysterical in their cold matter of fact way. She has muted emotions compared to others, showing them in small ways and often having to declare her emotions to others.
Beneath her muted and reserved exterior, she has an energy and desire that can be seen given time. She is dutiful, does her job better than expected, and places deep value in her comrades. At the same time however, she is still a Cheerian and her emotions are often far less powerful than a normal persons, meaning her love or fear will often be lesser than one expects.
History:
Dubbed a mutant by her people, Cerla was often avoided by others due to her emotional nature. Her parents didn’t know how to handle her outbursts, which to them were explosive bouts of anger while to anyone else it would be slight irritation. Her peers were unable to handle her melancholy, or her fanaticism for the Ginyu force. Cerla followed their exploits, her world a client of the PTO and thus having regular contact with them. The Ginyu Force was this explosive, colorful, and powerful force that she connected to. She became their biggest fan, buying their merchandise, until she accidentally won a sweep stakes that took her from her world to spend time with the force. Though what wasn’t said was how she would be basically their errand girl, getting food, organizing their schedule, taking photos of their poses, becoming their intern in all effects.
Cerla immensely enjoyed this work, and despite her unenthusiastic posing and muted speech, she tried to learn what she could of the Ginyu Force with a focus her people weren’t known for. When they left for the Namek mission, she was left to organize their barracks and prepare a victory Parfait for the captain. When news of their death came back, she was shipped back to her planet and back to the people who didn’t understand her. Between Lord Frieza dying and the PTO going into Chaos, Cerla felt she was going to be stuck on her world. But with the resurgence of Lord Frieza and his force, the conflict with the saiyens, and the growing chaos of the galaxy, Cerla has officially joined the PTO with hopes of doing the Ginyu force proud, and carrying on the poses she learned.
Sample RP:
Cerla climbed out from the relative comfort of her space pod, a blank expression meeting the local force that had come to see what had fell screaming through their sky and scaring their farmland from the heavy impact and the heat that had already set fire to much of the crop yield. They looked Ursine in body construction, as if you made a grizzly bear stand on its hind legs, wear a suit of full plate armor and grow a mustache. Cerla let out a small quick “Hm,” then calmed herself as she looked at the humorous display of nature infront of her. Stepping from her pod, her boots struck the dirt daintily due to her low weight, as the Bear Knights stomped forward and towered over her. “Hairless Demon! Why have you attacked us?!” It roared out, spittle getting caught in its face guard and mustache. It offered an apology and took out a handkerchief to clean up the spittle.
Cerla stood unmoving in the shadow of the Ursine Crusader, letting him wipe his mouth before she spoke “Greetings People of Planet Kodiak, I am an employee of the PTO, and have come to inform you of the recent purchase of your planet.” She said calmly, pulling out a document from her bag and handing it to the Bear who sputtered a confused noise “Your planet, it’s resources, fauna and flora now all belong to the…” Cerla peaked at the document “People of Planet Roe. They however did pay the extra fee to ensure you and your people were informed of this transfer of ownership, so you would have time to put your affairs in order and vacate their world. It’s very considerate of th-“ she was interrupted by the document being ripped to shreds, an expected reaction that elicited no reaction save a pause from Cerla.
”We have no knowledge of these Roe, or the PTO, but this is our land and we cannot leave it.” He said, his men getting closer to intimidate the young woman. A chirp from the device in her ear was heard, and she continued.
”if your people do not possess a means of vacating the planet, the PTO can provide assistance for the small fee of your people working at various facilities while we look for a planet for you to settle amongst our discount worlds. We have a payment plan available as well if you are willing to allow your children to aide you.” Cerla said, speaking out of the often forgotten Manuel for PTO planet acquisitions. She had made sure to memorize it, thinking customers would appreciate her knowledge. The bears sword breaking across her shoulder informed her that it was no appreciated.
As the Bear looked in horror at his shattered blade, Cerla hovered up so she was eye level with him. “I’m afraid by assaulting a PTO employee, you are no longer eligible for our Victem assistance package. I hope you understand that what follows could have been avoided had you allowed me to do my job sir.” She said, the Bear sputtering half an apology before his head was kicked from his shoulders and into the chest of one of his men, killing him as well. Cerla landed on the fallen body of the leader, and clicked her boots together, made a Y shape with her body, twirled, then posed so she was leaning to the left with one arm bent upwards palm facing her and the other holding its elbow. “Prepare for swift destruction by the Cerla Kello, Former Ginyu Force Intern!” She said loudly though with no inflection or passion.
The bears stared at this hairless green woman silently in both fear, confusion, and slight Awkwardness, before Cerla charged forward to complete her mission as she tried to review what she might have done wrong with the pose. Perhaps she should have done it earlier, or perhaps it had been inappropriate for the situation. As she swung one Bear into another, she decided to review her notes again once she got back. The Captain would have known what she did wrong, she missed the team and him even now.
